Before we got to the opening scene, "AMC" paid tribute to Eileen Herlie (Myrtle), who passed away about a month prior to the airing of the episode. Then, we saw Joe as the first one reading through a tabloid which discussed how Pine Valley had been devastated by the recent slew of tornadoes. Joe continued to read from the article and mentioned how the Mayor of Pine Valley wanted the citizens to come together that night for a moment of silence.

Tad was in his living room with Krystal also reading from the same tabloid and spoke of how the Mayor wanted everyone to come together during that recent time of tragedy to help rebuild Pine Valley. After he got done reading, he looked at a picture of Babe, who died during the tornadoes due to severe injuries. He noticed Krystal looking at Babe's picture and went over to comfort her.

Adam heard his doorbell ring so he went to go answer it and Jack was at the front door. He invited Jack in and that is when Jack informed Adam he felt he knew what was going on there. Jack was puzzled as to why Erica would offer to move in to Chandler Mansion but he informed Adam his belief was Adam was behind the tainting of Bella perfume and Erica wanted to find out more.

At the time of this episode, Zach was a temporary single parent since Kendall was in a coma due to injuries she got from the tornado. For his first scene, he was on the couch with Spike and Ian and Reese was there to help him with the children. She brought out some toys for the boys and also the book, "Sleeping Beauty." Zach began to read the story to Spike and Ian.

During the tornado, Natalia was injured and she needed a blood transfusion but Angie said they needed a family member to sign off on her getting the transfusion. Angie was shocked when Jesse signed the papers since he fathered Natalia while he was away from Angie for 20 years.

In the first scene in this episode involving Jesse, Angie informed him Rebecca, Natalia's mother, was awake and asked for him. However, Rebecca was not in the hospital due to injuries from the tornado but rather for having just been diagnosed with having a brain tumor.

JR was still distraught over Babe's death and he needed some comfort. In one scene, midway through the episode, he went to speak to Krystal and told her he wanted to go pay her a visit at her grave. Krystal hugged him and said she would join him later in spending time at Babe's grave.

As JR walked out of Tad's house to go to the cemetery, Opal lamented he seemed like such a lost soul. When JR got to her grave, Amanda arrived a few minutes later to talk to him.

David and Amanda interacted throughout this episode and all of their talk surrounded David's plan to get Amanda to have him fall off the wagon and begin drinking again. David's aim was to prove JR was an unfit parent to Little Adam so he could get custody of the little boy.

He offered her a check for $5 million so she could try and "resurrect Babe" (re: wear her clothes, talk about her ad nauseum, et all). He informed Amanda he would give her additional money every time JR fell closer and closer to completely getting back into alcoholism so Amanda took his check. Subsequent months later, Amanda showed signs of regret over her part in David's devious plan.

While Jack was at Chandler Mansion, he saw Erica there and they began to talk. Erica mentioned how they had been through so much so recently and that she wanted to make herself available to Jack, albeit it on friendly terms. In one part of their conversation, Erica asked Jack how Greenlee was so he responded that she was with Ryan and, last he checked, she was fine.

While Jesse was in Rebecca's room, Angie came in and told him Frankie wanted to speak to him. Jesse went to go hear what Frankie had to say so Frankie told him what life was like growing up without his dad for 20 years and that there was still so much he did not know.

At the end of their talk, Frankie told Jesse he forgave him for staying away (Jesse's reason for being away from Angie and Frankie was people were after him and he did not want to put his wife and son in harm's way). He also forgave Jesse for fathering a child while away as well and they hugged.

Throughout this episode, there was a mysterious character who interacted with many characters named Aggie, played by the show's creator, Agnes Nixon. In her first scene, she carried a book around called "All My Children" and mentioned to Ruth how she knew she was a nurse for many years at Pine Valley Hospital. Ruth was shocked Aggie knew this as she did not know Aggie. Later on in the episode, Aggie spoke with Opal and mentioned how she also knew Myrtle Fargate and Pete Cooney (Palmer Cortlandt's biological name). Opal told Tad, Colby, and Pete she did a Google search on Aggie and realized the town was created in 1870 by a woman named Aggie.

This was obviously in reference to Agnes Nixon creating the town of Pine Valley when she wrote the show's bible.
