During the Spelling Bee food competition, the word April had to spell was Pepperoni, and she knew how because it was her dog's name. Later, April got upset when Howie said he wanted to eat Pepperoni pizza.

The houseguests were excited to see somebody new because they had been alone in the house for two months.
