John, trying to convince everyone to keep searching for wormholes after a long 10 days of searching, watches as everyone votes to leave. First Chiana says she's ready to go, then Jool adds, "I'm with Miss Monochrome. Let's get the frell out of here." Before they can leave, however, they pass an electro-magnetic cluster and a strange being passes through John and then disappears...

Answer: Shake like a sheep in Arkansas

John keeps losing time and wakes up to find he's bleeding. When no one believes him, he makes them watch him, and has a DRD tape everything. In an instant, everyone notices that a bucket catching dripping water is suddenly overflowing. Watching the DRD video, they see that they all passed out and then convulsed as if being shocked. Later they discover an energy being possessing Pilot, who tells them he is searching for an energy rider who is in one of them. Chiana asks John why he is so ready to believe the being as he goes about trying to figure out which one it is. John says, "I don't have to believe it, Chiana, but something made me bleed, and it made all of us shake like a sheep in Arkansas."

Answer: Linda Blair

When everyone starts suspecting everyone else of being possessed by the energy rider, Jool confronts John, saying he's the most likely suspect. John replies, "Kiss my butt. If I'm Linda Blair, why am I telling you anything?" Linda Blair played the girl possessed by Satan in the film "The Exorcist."

The Project Leader, Drillic, insists it's a waste of time sending unmanned Prowlers into wormholes, and to send a pilot in immediately as the last unmanned Prowler maintained its integrity over the last six re-entries into the wormhole. Scorpius allows it, and when the pilot returns and his Prowler is opened, only goo pours out of the cockpit. Scorpius tells Drillic, "Your Pilot's integrity is, well, it is definitely not intact." Drillic responds with, "There must be a malfunction in the negative shield deployment.

This will never happen again." Scorpius smiles and says, "Oh, it'll happen once more. Inspector Drillic will pilot the next trial. Wash out the prowler for immediate deployment." So much for Drillic...

Answer: R2-D2

John, trying to talk to Moya through a DRD, listens to it beep at him. He asks Chiana if she knows what it means, and she says no, prompting John to say, "Alright, we don't understand the R2-D2 crap. We're going to use the Star Trek system. One blink for yes, two blinks for no."

Answer: Pike

A DRD leads John and Chiana into the starburst chamber, and then disappears. John asks, "Where did DRD Pike go?" Pike was the original captain on "Star Trek." Number One was Pike's second in command, and Spock was the Vulcan on the show. Data appeared on "Star Trek: The Next Generation." Pike communicated through a series of blinks due to being crippled and mute, much like the DRD communicates with John. Poor Pike gets left behind in the starburst chamber and is never seen again.

The being called Tallip that is in Pilot tells them he must find and destroy the energy rider, and one way to find out who has the energy rider is to see who doesn't know personal facts about themselves. Jool's story changes from what she told the crew and she is checked first, but it is not found. Later, D'Argo is checked as well. John discovers the rider in Chiana in the starburst chamber when the light from starburst reveals the energy rider.

John says, "My dad's name was Jack. My dog's name was Hubble. I lost my virginity to Karen Shaw in the back of a four-by." D'Argo asks how old he was when he lost his virginity, and John tells him sixteen. D'Argo says he was seven.

When D'Argo and John confront Tallip, John demands that he turn the ship around and head back to his cluster before they tell him where the energy rider is. Tallip asks how does he know that one of them isn't infected and that everything is the energy rider's plan. D'Argo responds with, "It's not, believe me. This plan is so bad, it has to be ours."

Answer: Casper

Tallip, after killing the energy rider, decides he likes being in Pilot's body and will stay. John, trying to distract Tallip and start his plan to get him out, comes inside and says, "Relax, Casper, I'm not here to interrupt your blessing. Too much makes you go blind, though, you know." Eventually, they lure him out and then start starburst, which consumes Tallip and destroys him.
