Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What new character is introduced in this episode, other than Scorpius?

Answer: Stark

Stark is John's cellmate, who is a little out of his mind from being in Scorpius's Aurora Chair. Stark tells John, "This is my side!
That's your side! You stay on your side! My side, your side! My side, your side!" Stark only seems to become more unhinged as the series goes on.
2. Who does John pose as when he goes to the gammack base?

Answer: Captain Larraq

Chiana stole Captain Larraq's ident chip in "A Bug's Life," so John used it to pose as Larraq to infiltrate the gammack base in order to find a tissue match to help heal Aeryn's paraphoral nerve, which was cut by Larraq. Melkor is actually a Peackeeper lieutenant from "Exodus from Genesis" while Butch is a name John used in "Till the Blood Runs Clear." Crais appears later, when he comes to collect John.
3. Rygel says John is what when he tells them his plan to help Aeryn?

Answer: Magra-fahrbots

Drad means cool or great. Frelwit means stupid, and is used by Rygel in "Natural Election." Chiana calls John a gleebo in "Durka Returns," and it means something along the lines of dork or loser. In this episode, after hearing that John wants to go to the gammack base full of Peacekeepers, he tells John, "You're not just farhbot, you're magra-fahrbots!" In other words, Rygel seems to think John is insane, very insane.
4. What is John's nickname for Scorpius?

Answer: Nosferatu

John, while being questioned in the Aurora Chair, tells Scorpius, "For the ninth time, Nosferatu, I'm not a spy." John refers to the old silent movie of the same name, adapted from Bram Stoker's "Dracula."
5. Which of these Yogi Berra quotes does John use?

Answer: It's déjà vu all over again

When Scorpius orders Niem to keep searching John's memory with the Aurora Chair, John quips, "It's déjà vu all over again." This quote is originally said by the famous baseball player Yogi Berra, as well as all the other quotes. He is just as famous for his sayings as he is for baseball.
6. How did John get a neural block to protect his memory of wormholes from the Aurora Chair?

Answer: The Ancients

In "A Human Reaction," the Ancients gave John the knowledge of how to create a wormhole, as revealed in this episode. John had no memory of it, which was intentional. The Ancients tell John, "The unconscious knowledge we have given you will guide you. Nothing more." John has to discover the knowledge on his own, as the Ancients only gave him enough to guide him in his search. And it also appears they put up a block to prevent anyone else from finding it.
7. What sci-fi TV show does John reference?

Answer: Lost in Space

John, after coming back from the Aurora Chair, mumbles to himself, "Danger...danger, Will Robinson. Beware the chair. Beware the chair." This line is from the show "Lost in Space," when the robot would yell out warnings to the boy, Will Robinson.
8. What did John call the Aurora Chair?

Answer: Comfy chair

Crais tells John he has captured Moya and everyone on board, and that he will kill them unless John stops resisting the Aurora Chair. When John realizes Crais is lying to him, he says, "Fetch the comfy chair." This is a reference to the Monty Python sketch, "The Spanish Inquisition."
9. What movie does John reference?

Answer: Cool Hand Luke

When Crais and Scorpius are about to put John back in the Aurora Chair for another session, John says, "I got my mind right, boss." This is from "Cool Hand Luke," a line by Paul Newman telling his guards in the prison that he "got his mind right" after they put him in the box. Brazil and Marathon Man both deal with someone being tortured in a chair, and "Shawshank Redemption" is another prison movie dealing with a prisoner playing mind games with his jailers.
10. Who said, "You're trying to create a wormhole?"

Answer: John

John says this line to Scorpius once he realizes that the gammak base is researching wormholes. And John becomes Scorpius's new obsession because of his unconscious knowledge of wormholes.
