Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What nickname does John not use for Jool?

Answer: Sweet Thing

John uncuffs Jool, telling her, "Deputizing you, debutante." When she seems unwilling to help, John says, "Look princess, I know that this trip to Krugerland was not on your itinerary, but believe it or not, I know exactly how you feel." Later, when Pilot regains consciousness, he sees Jool and asks who she is, and John tells her, "That's ballast, ignore it." He also calls her a nitwit at one point as well. He calls her Sweet Thing, or "Thang" in "Thanks for Sharing."
2. What police show is referenced by John?

Answer: Adam-12

When John learns that the wormhole serpent is part of their reality now, he says, "It just keeps getting better and better. One-Adam-Twelve, guys, the critter's part of our reality now. Be careful out there." "Adam-12" was a police drama in the late 1960's/early 1970's which starred actor Kent McCord, who plays John's dad Jack on "Farscape." The line "Be careful out there" was used on "Hill Street Blues," another popular police drama.
3. John tells Jool, "Welcome to the Federation Starship SS _____."

Answer: Buttcrack

Jool tells John that everything she's seen so far is despicable. John tells her, "Weclome to the Federation Starship SS Buttcrack" as he slaps his butt, walking away from her.
4. How does John kill the serpent?

Answer: Forcefield

John and Aeryn make a run from the serpent, and John tells her he has a plan. She says his plans never work, but he says they always do as the serpent gets closer. Aeryn replies they never work in the way he details them, but John says he still gets results. And this time the result is the two of them hiding in D'Argo's ship (that he found in "Suns and Lovers") and turning on the forcefield at the last minute when the serpent is about to devour them, chopping the monster in half. John says, "Ha, world class plan!"
5. How does Pathfinder Neeyala free herself?

Answer: Jool's screams melt her handcuffs

Neeyala tells Jool the serpent is behind her to make her scream, knowing it will melt the handcuffs. Eventually they are weak enough for her to break free of them and knock Jool out. Kreetago does turn invisible and roams Moya, sabotaging the leviathan so that the crew will choose to abandon Moya and leave on the Pathfinder's ship. D'Argo kills him while the Pathfinder tries to complete his mission.
6. What does Harvey wear in this episode?

Answer: Tuxedo

Harvey appears in a tuxedo with John saying John can choose the venue, but he's going to make sure they look good. John seemed to have control over Harvey for a few episodes, but now Harvey is setting up a few rules of his on since John is distracted by his other troubles.
7. What venue in John's memory do John and Harvey talk?

Answer: A Macon, GA truckstop

John finds himself called up by Harvey at a truckstop in Macon, GA, where John once found himself on Spring Break, hitchhiking his way "to see the strippers." Even Harvey puts his thumb out to hitch a ride while they talk... but somehow I doubt anyone is going to pick him up.
8. How does Zhaan die?

Answer: She is destroyed when the Pathfinder's ship is destroyed

Zhaan sacrifices herself to save Moya and her crew by turning on the Phaztillon generator which separates Moya from the Pathfinder ship. Unfortunately, that leaves Zhaan stuck on the ship as it spins from the wormhole, going from hetch (really really fast) to a dead stop, which causes subatomic dispersal. Zhaan's spirit can be seen leaving the ship after it is destroyed, and then she is gone.
9. Why does Rygel decide to stay?

Answer: For Pilot

Stark at one point tells Rygel that Pilot likes Rygel. Rygel asks how he knows, and Stark tells him that Pilot told him so. This is probably a lie, but it cheers Rygel up to no end, who feels left out. When everyone tells John they've all voted to stay and not abandon Moya, John says, "Even Rygel?" Rygel pips up with, "Pilot likes me!" At the end, Rygel is seen rubbing Pilot's 'hand' and making sure he's all right, saying, "I like you, Pilot. I like you a lot."
10. Aeryn throws in an Earth reference. What is it?

Answer: Star Wars

John tells Aeryn he found a radio transmission from the image recorder the Pathfinders gave him. She says, "What, like Yoda from Dagobah?" John told her about Yoda way back in season one's "I E.T."
