Francine's Flashback Trivia Quiz

The episode begins with Stan looking at the TV and saying, "Shoot him! Shoot him!" Then, we see that he's ironically watching "Sesame Street". And not only that, Stan's remarks seem to be saying that he feels it is a serious threat that Cookie Monster is not really swallowing any cookies.

To show off how cool it will be at "Burning Man" when a giant statue is lit on fire, Jeff plans to do the same with a miniature model for Haley. He douses it with gasoline, but the gas puddles on the ground and reaches his feet. This causes Jeff to catch on fire along with the model, but this doesn't stop him from reminding Haley to "picture this, except 50 feet tall."

Roger and Klaus especially love to watch that episode, which they have on videotape. After Stan forgot he and Francine's anniversary the first time, Francine started a fight with him on the sidewalk, to the point where the cops (along with the television cameras for the similarly named program) showed up. Unfortunately for Stan, they could only hold Francine back for so long before she got her hands on him.

Steve meets an incredibly attractive girl who is well-known in town, and who remarkably agrees to go out with him. The catch is he needs to find a date for he incredibly ugly friend. He calls everyone he knows, including a friend Steve mentions is blind, but is turned down by everyone until Roger accepts (in order to get out of the house).

The screen shot that sets up the date is of the pizzeria; the couples are seen inside in the next scene, with pizza on their plates in some of the scene. Roger is thrilled to be out of the house, until he sees how ugly his date is.

When Stan and Haley go to "Burning Man" to retrieve Francine and Jeff, Klaus hitches a ride in Stan's coffee thermos. After they arrive, Haley and Stan walk around looking for Jeff and Francine, while Klaus is stuffed into a tiny bowl behind them, pushing himself along with his fins.

This is also the part of the episode where Klaus delivers the ingenious and appropriate line, "I really feel like a fish out of water."

On their wedding day, Stan gave Francine a yellow flower (the species of which was never divulged) to symbolize their love, and kept it in the basement ever since. When he finds Francine at "Burning Man", he gives her the flower, in the hopes that its symbolic meaning will be enough to restore Francine's 20 years of lost memories.

However, Francine pops it into her mouth and asks, "How long 'till it kicks in?"

After getting rather drunk at the concert, the freak-out tent is where Francine ends up. "Dave Chappelle Freak-out Tent" is on the sign above the entrance to the tent. (This is a reference to Dave disappearing from the set of his show during the taping of the third season.)

After all of Stan's efforts, a simple kiss was all it took to restore Francine's memories. With all of the couples reunited, the Smiths return home. Klaus is still in the bowl he was dragging himself around in at the concert, but Francine is now seen on the front porch holding him in her arms.

During the course of the night, Jewel discovered Roger was an alien when he squirmed out of his disguise to get away from her. She told Lindsey, but Roger was quick to knock both of them out with a frying pan. To make them forget the last evening, the two girls are taken to the CIA technician that originally erased Francine's memory after Stan, Francine and Haley walk in on Steve, Roger, and the tied up girls. Stan tells Steve he is deeply disappointed in him, but Steve uses his line while pointing at the cuter of the two girls. Once he realizes which girl was Steve's date, all disappointment he felt instantly disappears.
