Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What rank is the bureaucrat that runs Cookieville Minimum Security Orphanarium?

Answer: 135

His badge can be read in "Leela's Homeworld", season 4. It is worth noting that the man in question has not been promoted in over 20 years.
2. In episode three, there is an animation error causing which character's mouth to not move when he or she speaks?

Answer: Hermes Conrad

Hermes says "We'll bill ya for the couch" after evicting Fry and Bender. His mouth does not move, for whatever reason.
3. What language is said to be "dead" in the English version of the show?

Answer: French

The professor mentions that his universal translator can only translate into an "obscure, dead language." It then translates "hello" into "bonjour." When the episode aired in France, the dead language was changed to German.
4. What species runs the pizzeria in "A Leela of her Own"?

Answer: Cygnoids

The Cygnoids were notorious for using excessively poor ingredients in their pizza. (Asbestos and rat feces, for example.) They made only three appearances on the entire run of the show.
5. Which of these is not a political party?

Answer: Whigbots

In "A Head in the Polls," Fry registers to vote. At "Citihall" booths for all these parties can be seen. (Bull Space Moose Party is in the background)
6. Which of these songs from the 20th century is considered classical music in the future?

Answer: Baby Got Back

Fry is listening to this song in "A Fishful of Dollars," and Leela describes it as "classical." "Do the Hustle" is mentioned to be an ancient dance in "Jurassic Bark," meant to implore the Gods for a favor in the form of a Trans-Am.
7. What episode is this line from? "Oh, the Jedi are gonna feel this one!"

Answer: Crimes of the Hot

This is said by Prof. Farnsworth, right before every robot life on Earth is wiped out by Nixon and Wernstrom. This parodies Obi-Wan Kenobi's "feeling" the death of every inhabitant of Alderran in "Star Wars IV."
8. Which of these terms is used twice in the series to mean two different things?

Answer: Smismar

Smizmarr is used to mean both a gender ("Brannigan, Begin Again", "Raging Bender"), as well as a term of endearment by Kiff's people ("Kiff Gets Knocked Up a Notch.") Umbrel is the mermaid Fry falls in love with in "The Deep South." Chronitons are the "time altering particles" from "Time Keeps on Slippin'" and "Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles." The maternifuge was Prof. Farnsworth's machine used to determine who has fathered a child. Zoidberg lives inside it, given how poor he is.
9. What planet is Elzar from?

Answer: Neptune

Elzar is mentioned to be a "master of Neptunian cuisine" ("Bender Gets Made"), and also looks identical to the Neptunians in "Tale of Two Santas."
10. Which of these occupations does Fry claim requires graduate school education?

Answer: Barber

In "A Taste of Freedom", Fry mentions how he has tired of working as a slave, and wants to go to graduate school in order to become a barber. (Note: It may be that Fry is incredibly stupid and simply THINKS one must go to grad school to be a barber, or that cosmetology school is actually quite complex in the future)
