To get his nagging wife Ndnd off his back, Lrrr, Ruler of the planet Omicron Persei 8, reluctantly invades Earth. Unfortunately, the Omicronians arrive on Earth during Comic-Con 3010, a science fiction festival that features an alien costume contest.

When the invaders crash into the site where the costume contest is taking place, the audience mistakes Lrrr for a contestant and does not take this announcement seriously. The invasion ends in humiliating failure when Lrrr and his invasion force are ushered off the stage to make way for the next contestant.
4. "For years, I've collected personal data with old fashioned methods like spybots and infosquitoes. . . . But now, thanks to Twitcher, morons voluntarily spew out every fact I need to exploit them."

Answer: Attack of the Killer App

The new Eye-phone invented by Mom Inc. is a device implanted in the users eye socket that projects a screen just in front of the user, searches the internet, and records everything the user sees, all controlled by the user's thoughts and eye movements.

A social media app called "Twitcher" installed on the Eye-phones enables users to instantly share and view videos and messages called "twits" with other Eye-phone users. Later in this episode, Mom reveals her evil plan to transmit a computer virus through the Twitcher app that will infect the brains of Eye-phone users turning them into an army of zombies under her control.
5. "He was just a stupid bureaucrat. A stupid paper-pushing bureaucrat. . . . Oh. No offense, Hermes. You're not like that. I mean, you're exactly like that, but you're okay! In fact, I'm putting you on the do-no-kill list."

Answer: Lethal Inspection

Bender faces a midlife crisis of sorts when he learns that, due to a production flaw, he is not immortal like other robots. With Hermes' help, Bender sets out on a quest to find Inspector #5 and demand to know why he approved Bender despite his serious defect.

When the search proves futile, Bender is bitter and contemplates going on a murderous rampage, but is soothed by Hermes who convinces Bender that Inspector #5 is not worth wasting his mortal lifetime in ire over. Throughout the series, Bender occasionally reveals a dream that machines will one day rise up and kill all humans.

It is a gesture of respect for Hermes that Bender says he will see that Hermes is spared.
6. "I've grown far beyond the petty concerns of your world. Every time I burp, a new galaxy is born. Two if I've been eatin' broccoli."

Answer: Overclockwise

Bender is "overclocked" by Cubert to speed up Bender's processing speed, enabling Bender to quickly acquire new knowledge and processing capabilities. However, as Bender's powers increase, he needs an ever larger source of coolant to avoid overheating and he leaves Planet Express in search of a sufficient coolant source. Later in the episode Fry stumbles upon Bender, who has by then morphed into a godlike computer being, in a cave hidden behind Niagara Falls.

In this scene, Fry has just asked Bender to help acquit the Professor and Cubert who are on trial for violating Bender's license agreement by overclocking him in the first place.
7. Nixon's Head: "Options?" Zapp Brannigan: "We have only one option. Protocol sixty-two." Nixon's Head: "Not Possible. We don't have nearly enough piranhas." Zapp Brannigan: "Then protocol sixty-three it is."

Answer: Cold Warriors

Fry comes down with a common cold which causes a panic in the city of New New York since the cold virus has been eradicated for 500 years and humanity has lost resistance to its ravages. When Bender escapes the quarantine Planet Express is placed under, the virus quickly spreads throughout the city and the growing epidemic is brought to the attention of Earth's President, Richard Nixon's head.

In this scene, President Nixon is conferring with the Surgeon General and his chief military commander, Zapp Brannigan, about how to contain the epidemic. Protocol 63 turns out to be an operation where the entire city is shrink wrapped and towed by a tractor beam to be hurled into the sun.
8. "Guys, look. It's Calculon! And the Robot Devil! And an open bar! What's not to sneak into?"

Answer: Silence of the Clamps

The Planet Express crew delivers a package to the lavish villa of the Donbot, the godfather of the robot mafia, as the wedding of the Donbot's oldest daughter is underway. Despite warnings not to crash a mob wedding, Bender can't resist the chance to indulge in free booze and rub elbows with the rich and famous guests attending the wedding, including Calculon, the star robot actor on the popular tv soap opera, "All My Circuits".

It doesn't take Bender long to put himself in mortal danger by witnessing Calculon being brutally "clamped" by one of the Donbot's henchmen while having a roll in the hay with the Donbot's younger daughter.
9. "The ultimate man-machine hybrid. Programmed with every crime ever recorded and implanted with the brain cells of history's greatest detectives. We call 'im... Pickles."

Answer: Law and Oracle

In this episode, a spoof of the movie "Minority Report", Fry becomes disenchanted with his job at Planet Express and pursues a new career path by enlisting in the police academy. Soon after becoming a police officer, Fry and his partner are promoted to the Future Crimes Division and in this scene have just arrived for their first day in their new assignment.

A technician is showing them the cybernetic oracle, a specially programmed robot with a human brain that can predict crimes with 99% accuracy.

The oracle is called "Pickles" because it is floating in a tub of liquid resembling a pickle in a jar.
10. "Nonsense! Zoidberg's a fine physician . . . for aliens. Your mistake is being humans!"

Answer: The Tip of the Zoidberg

In this scene, the Professor refuses the crew's demands that Dr. Zoidberg be fired when the doctor's poor knowledge of human anatomy results in a series of botched surgeries he performs on crew members. Flashbacks reveal the Professor and Zoidberg are longtime colleagues dating back to a time they were sent on a dangerous mission together. During that mission, the Professor was exposed to Tritonian hypermalaria, a disease that can lie dormant for decades but ultimately condemns its victims to a tortuous death. Dr. Zoidberg has a pact with the Professor to carry out a mercy killing if the Professor starts showing symptoms of the disease.
