In leaving Na Tra in the "Phi Ho Gian", she hoped that he would find "a tiger with wings", the only thing that could save Na Tra from death, according to the famous Sai Bak Hao (Tay Ba Ho).

The kind Empress did become blind before dying, but it was not because of a sickness. The lazy Emperor listened to evil To Dac Ky and believed that the Empress was trying to lead a revolution against him, so he locked the Empress up with the other concubines who had been abandoned by him.

There the Empress tried to convinced the Emperor yet again that his favorite concubine, To Dac Ky, was really an evil fox spirit. When the Emperor did not listen, the Empress took out her own eyes and sent them to her unfaithful husband.

A while after that, after she had her friends promised that they would take care of her sons, the Empress died and To Dac Ky became Empress.

In an Asian family, the most important thing is respect for your parents. When Na Tra "returned" his bones to his father and his flesh to his mother, that was the worst thing that he could had done. It was like disowning his own parents, only worse because without his parents, he would not be alive.

The second most unforgivable thing Na Tra did was kill the third Crown Sea Dragon Prince. Na Tra reprimanding his mother was really bad, but wasn't a major thing like returning bones to father and flesh to mother. Na Tra hitting his aunt was also disrespectful, but he was only trying to protect his mom so it wasn't that big of a deal.

It was true that when Yin Shi Niang (Han Thap Nuong)was pregnant with Na Zha (Na Tra) , she carried him in her stomach for three whole years. When finally she was able to give birth to her son, out came a glowing big ball instead. It wasn't until Na Tra's father Lee Jing (Ly Tin) cut open the ball that Na Tra appeared as not a newborn baby, but as a three years old.

Yeung Chin (Duong Tien) was born with three eyes, that was the reason why his stepmother abandoned him in the mountains when he was younger. Later in the movie, his third eye was able to shoot out laser and see in the pitch dark. He doesn't have a pair of wings, though his friend, Loi Tran Tu, does, Na Tra's the one that can breathe fire. No one in this movie has three legs.

The ending was actually pretty good. The evil Tan Gei (To Dac Ky) was defeated and beheaded. All the good people in the civil war became gods and goddesses, even the one that died sort of came back to life and became a god or goddess. It was pretty much a happily ever after ending and it was a good one too.
