Gabrielle Carteris, one of the older actresses playing a high school student, portrayed Andrea Zuckerman from season one through five, and then in a few episodes afterwards.

Andrea was the editor of "The Blaze", West Beverly High's school newspaper for two years. In the third year that the gang was in high school, Andrea and Brandon were co-editors. Brandon's nickname for Andrea was "Chief"; she called him "Ace".

In the first episode (or second, if you watched it on a network that divided the 2-hour pilot into two episodes), Brandon followed Andrea home from school and discovered that she lived in Van Nuys, well outside of the Beverly Hills district. She was not allowed to be attending West Beverly High, but did so by using the address of her grandmother, who lived in a small apartment in Beverly Hills.

This was obvious throughout the first few seasons of the show, and was first verbally expressed in the first season episode "Slumber Party". The girls played a game called 'Skeletons in the closet', and her crush on Brandon was Andrea's skeleton.

The teen hotline was the focus of the first season episode "The Gentle Art of Listening". In this episode, Brenda asked Andrea if she could be a volunteer as well, so Andrea brought her along even though she doubted Brenda's sincerity.

"90210" viewers first met Grandma Rose in the second season episode "Down and Out of District in Beverly Hills". Rose agreed to let Andrea move in with her when the school board became suspicious that Andrea did not live in the proper district to attend West Beverly High.

Answer: picking the winner in a horse race

Nat asked Andrea to pick him a horse, and when it won, asked her to pick another. She was right so often that Nat, Steve, and Brandon took her to the track to pick winners for them. Her picks had a theme to them - she chose horses named Unrequited and Lovesick, among others.

It was Andrea's lifelong dream to attend Yale. She was accepted and had decided to go there, but it was revealed at the beginning of the fourth season that somewhere between seasons three and four, Andrea decided to go to California University instead.

She cited her grandmother's sickness as her reason, but others (like Gil Myers) believed she just didn't want to leave her friends. As an interesting side note, Gabrielle Carteris went to Sarah Lawrence.

Answer: Dan Rubin

Though Andrea mentioned more than once her desire to lose her virginity to Brandon while in high school, she remained a virgin until college. In the episode titled "Strangers in the Night", she slept with Dan Rubin, who was her Resident Adviser, as well as one of her professors.

She dumped Dan for Jesse, whom she eventually married. To my knowledge, Andrea never even came close to sleeping with Steve.

Answer: the animal research lab

Andrea, a pre-med student, worked at the research lab. It was the same lab that Brenda almost went to jail for vandalising with an animal rights group. Andrea believed in her work, saying that if testing on cats would help save many infants, including her own unborn child, from SIDS, then it was worth it.
