Answer: Run!

The Doctor and Rose kept running together until the episode, "Doomsday". She saved his life when he was captured by the Nestene Consciousness earning his respect and an offer to travel with him. In the 2005 "Children in Need" special, a short clip was produced showing Rose's reaction to the Doctor's regeneration. Filled with fear and not believing that he was the same man, the tenth Doctor told the story of their first meeting, including his first word, "Run!" She begrudgingly accepted that they were the same person, but still was upset.

Answer: The death of the Earth

Rose suffered through this episode, "End of the World" with quite a bit of culture shock. Elements that would soon become commonplace in her life were new and weird. She was also greatly distressed by seeing the end of her world. The sun was expanding and roasting the planet.

While no one was dying (the planet had been abandoned), Rose was still upset. Later, the Doctor revealed that his home planet was also gone. They now had a connection as they went back in time for fish and chips.

Answer: He was questioned by the police about her disappearance.

Rose's mum, Jackie, had spent the last twelve months looking for her lost child. Mickey had witnessed Rose's departure in the TARDIS, but he was unable to explain where she went. Jackie was not only looking for Rose, but also had spread rumors around that Mickey was a murderer. Through this story, both Jackie and Mickey gained a begrudging acceptance of the Doctor in Rose's life. Mickey helped the Doctor with his computer skills. Jackie insisted the Doctor keep Rose safe.

Answer: She touched his armored shell.

Rose's touch brought energy and life back into the Dalek, and it went on a killing spree. The Doctor's attempt to isolate the murderous alien trapped Rose with it. Unable to kill Rose, the Doctor agreed to the Dalek's ultimatum to release him or he would kill her. Yet this Dalek had undergone a change and not only received life from Rose but feelings as well.

She stopped the Doctor from killing the new hybrid Dalek, but the Dalek committed suicide instead. He was unable to live with such strange feelings.

Answer: Reapers came and ate people.

A single man was now alive who was meant to be dead. The reapers had come to seal the wound in time. Rose and her family were able to hide in a church for refuge as the age of the church protected them from the reapers. The Doctor was furious with Rose's mistake but ultimately forgave her.

While her father, Pete, eventually understood that he would have to die to save them all, she was able to know the father that she had never known. She was with him as he died so he was not alone.

Answer: Dancing

In the atmospheric two part episode, "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances", Rose was rescued by the charming time traveler, Captain Jack Harkness. Rose described him as like the Doctor but "with dating and dancing". For the first time, the Doctor seemed to gain a jealous streak. Using that sense of jealousy, Rose broke through that barrier that the Doctor had enveloped around him. Rose tried to get him to dance, but it was only after his joyous victory that he remembered that he could.

Answer: She looked inside the time vortex.

In the episode "Boom Town", the TARDIS had opened its heart and revealed the time vortex. Rose knew that she had to communicate with the TARDIS and opening up the console was her best chance. With help from Jackie and Mickey, they pulled the TARDIS's heart open. Rose looked into the time vortex and communicated with the TARDIS. With the time vortex still poured into her mind, she came back and destroyed each and every Dalek.

She also brought the dead Jack back to life permanently. Unfortunately the power of the time vortex would kill Rose.

The Doctor absorbed it through a kiss and returned it to the TARDIS. This ended up spelling the doom for the ninth Doctor, and he regenerated into the tenth Doctor.

Answer: She accepted the role of a representative for Earth.

The Sycorax discovered the TARDIS and beamed it up to their ship with Rose, Mickey and the unconscious Doctor inside. Rose and Mickey were captured as they left the TARDIS. Rose attempted to speak for Earth using phrases she had learned from her travels with the Doctor. Prime Minister Harriet Jones tried to dissuade Rose, but she felt obligated to act as the Doctor did in the situation.

The Sycorax realized her words were "stolen" and were going to kill her. The Doctor came back at the right moment and took charge. Rose accepted that this new man was indeed the Doctor.

At this time, the Doctor lost his hand in a sword fight, but it grew back as he was still within the recent hours of regeneration.

Answer: Lady Cassandra

Lady Cassandra's skin was nearly dead, and she needed another body. She was able to use Rose's body to discover the secret of the cat hospital with help from the Doctor. The Doctor caught on quickly that something had happened to Rose. People were dying, and Rose seemingly did not care. Lady Cassandra also took over the Doctor's body and one of the sickened clones. Eventually Lady Cassandra died in the body of Chip, her loyal servant.

Answer: Sarah Jane Smith

At first, Rose was jealous of Sarah Jane's close relationship with the Doctor, but she soon learned to appreciate the TARDIS veteran. The reappearance of Sarah Jane did cause Rose to question her own relationship with the Doctor since he hardly mentioned Sarah Jane what would happen to her.

The Doctor was forced to share his view of how temporary his companions were. He explained, "You can spend the rest of your life with me. But I can't spend the rest of mine with you. I have to live on, alone. That's the curse of the Timelords." The episode also brought back the tin dog, K-9. K-9 valiantly died in battle, but the Doctor rebuilt K-9 and left it with Sarah Jane.

Answer: Her father was alive, but she was never born.

Pete Tyler had become a wealthy businessman from his health drinks scheme, but all was not so happy. Pete and Jackie were secretly split up and only together for public appearances. Jackie did have a dog, called Rose. Jackie ended up dying in the wake of the cybermen's attacks. Mickey, having realized that he had lost Rose to the Doctor, stayed behind in the parallel world to clean up the cybermen's mess.

Answer: A drop down a mysterious pit

The Doctor and researcher, Ida Scott, were trapped ten miles from the Sanctuary base where Rose and other researchers were in peril. The Doctor and Ida had been exploring the planet's inner core when communication with the base had been stopped. With only sixty minutes of air, Ida and the Doctor decided to travel down the mysterious pit with their leftover cable.

When the cable ran out, the Doctor realized he would rather take his chances dropping into the pit than waiting to run out of air. His message to Rose through Ida was the last thing Ida heard before the Doctor let his cable loose.

Answer: Pete Tyler

Pete Tyler, from a parallel world, came back and grabbed Rose, bringing her back to his world. This was an important step for Pete since up to that point he did not consider Rose his daughter. This step signified that he was accepting her as a surrogate daughter. Mickey also returned to the parallel world, and Jackie went with them as well. Pete's Jackie had died, making it, as the Doctor, said a good match for the widowed Jackie. The Doctor was able to project his image through the last gap in the worlds by using the power of a supernova. Rose was able to tell the Doctor she loved him.

The Doctor appeared to be about to say the same, but the projection was cut off.

Answer: She was united with a human regeneration of the Doctor.

The Daleks latest evil plan involved the dissolution of reality in the fourth series finale shows, "Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End". This terror made it able for Rose to cross between the parallel worlds along with Mickey and her mother. In the end, she was returned to her parallel world but not alone. During the fight against the Daleks, the Doctor's hand that had been cut-off in the "Christmas Invasion" had soaked up the Doctor's regeneration energy when the Doctor had been facing a regeneration earlier in the story.

When Donna Noble came into contact with the hand, a biological meta-crisis generated a new Doctor. He had all the Doctor's memories and intelligence, but he was biologically human with only one heart. In the end, the human Doctor stayed with Rose Tyler, telling her, "I only have one life, Rose Tyler. I'd like to spend it with you."

Having been exposed to fatally, dangerous radiation, the tenth Doctor realized he was about to regenerate. As a reward to himself, he visited many of those people who had been important to him. Since Rose was living in a parallel world, he had to visit her before she had met him. Hiding in the shadows, he saw her returning home on New Year's Day.

He fell into a casual conversation with her, telling her that he thought that 2005 was going to be a really good year for her. 2005 would be the year that she would meet the Doctor, and so she unwittingly but truthfully told him, "see ya."
