Answer: A shopkeeper

He played the pet shop owner in the dead parrot sketch, the barber in the lumberjack sketch and the cheese shop owner in the 'Rouge Cheddar' sketch.

Answer: Rancid Polecat

Ken Shabby, although repulsive in every aspect has a steady job cleaning out public lavatories. He's even in line for a promotion (after five years, they give him a brush.)
3. When giving their views on the battle of Trafalgar, four of the Pythons played the role of Mr. Gumby. Which Gumby did Mr. Palin pose as?

Answer: R. J. Gumby

He thought that the Battle of Trafalgar was actually fought near Cudworth. When asked why, he responded "Because Drake was too clever for the German fleet." and forgets what he said seconds later.
4. One of Michael Palin's more frequent roles was as a television host. Which of these programs did Michael NOT host?

Answer: Face the Press

'Face the Press' was hosted by Eric Idle, where he interviewed the minister of home affairs (in a dress), and a small patch of brown liquid.

Mr. Vercotti is a mobster who goes into seemingly harmless lines of work. A stunt organizer, a restaurant owner, owner of a 'watch' agency, and someone who says 'I like the police a lot.'
6. In 'John Cleese's Personal Best', Cleese says that Michael Palin is Jewish.

Answer: True

"At least I think so. He hasn't come out yet, but the name 'Michael' is a bit of a giveaway, isn't it?"

Answer: Talking to the camera

As a television host and as someone who just gets fed up with others' nonsense, Palin tends to do this a lot.
8. The 'Interesting People' sketch included all of the Pythons (except for Gilliam). What part did Michael Palin play in this sketch?

Answer: The host

Michael remains suprisingly upbeat during the show, even though there was no audience and he had to simulate applause. He even kept his cool when one of the acts was a fraud, saying he could recite the entire bible in one second while being struck with a large axe (he actually only said the first two words, "In the" before his death.")
9. In the legendary and ludicrous 'travel agency' sketch, with Mr. Smoke-too-much 'bomplaining' relentlessly about the 'inkonveniences' of travel, what was the name of Palin's perplexed character?

Answer: Mr. Bounder

"Hello, I'm Bounder of Adventure."
10. And finally, in the "Fish Slapping Dance" sketch, who is Michael's dance partner?

Answer: John Cleese

Palin slaps Cleese in the face several times with a pair of small herring, then Cleese knocks him into a river with a large halibut. Happy slapping!
