Puffy is trying to decide which road to take when they come to a fork, and Ami tries to suggest one of the paths. Yumi objects to Ami's decision making, referencing the time when Ami traded the bus for magic pony beans.

The two choices at the fork in the road were a happy meadow and a dark wasteland. Ami wanted to take the meadow, but was denied. Yumi forced the bus to go down the road through the wasteland; the environment was obviously an omen hinting to the bus having a bad experience.

After the bus drives off the cliff, it lands in a garbage dump below. Ami and Yumi soon find the talking, fortune telling koi fish on a pile of garbage.

To remove the koi fish's influence over Yumi, Ami jumps into a river; Yumi jumps in to save her against the koi fish's advice. After they make it back to shore, they say they will celebrate as they always do, with rock ('n roll).

While driving down the road, Kaz stops short to avoid hitting a squirrel. The squirrel starts screaming at Puffy in its own language, and Yumi translates for the squirrel. When asked about it, she reveals that she took two years of Squirrel in high school.

After Yumi tells Ami and Kaz that she took two years of Squirrel, she mumbles under her breath that she was the Squirrel Club Vice President.

The squirrel's home tree is about to be demolished, so Ami makes Kaz and Yumi help herself and the squirrel save the tree by chaining everyone to it. Blair shows up and says that he wants to get revenge on the tree for giving him a splinter 20 years ago. He even shows the wound, with the spinter still within him.

Ami chains herself, Yumi, the squirrel, and Kaz to the tree. Kaz squirms out and runs away. Blair is about to bulldoze Puffy along with tree, but Ami and Yumi rip the tree's roots out of the ground and run away with it; the tree is still chained to their backs the whole time.

After Ami and Yumi convince Blair to spare the tree, Kaz reappears, sporting a brand new grey haircut (presumably a wig, since he was bald just minutes before).

Yumi is trying to microwave some lunch, but Ami will not stop talking about sharing; the constant noise angers Yumi greatly, and she accidentally brings her fist down on the microwave. The microwave's display says "Ami" and Yumi then receives a shock that knocks her out for a minute. When she wakes up, she believes she is Ami.

Kaz: "Stand back! I know what to do! (grabs cats) I've seen this on tv! Clear!" (Uses the cats as defribulators, but ends up getting attacked)

While Yumi thinks she is Ami, she redoes her hair so it looks like Ami's; Yumi does opt to keep the original color, however.

Kaz and Ami try to shock Yumi to normal by placing a bucket of ice water over a door. When Yumi walks through the door, the bucket would fall all over her. However, the cats walk under the door first, and become frozen in blocks of ice. Yumi then picks the cats up and licks them like popsicles.

Answer: by acting like herself

Ami and Kaz are deliberating about how to get Yumi back to normal when Kaz tells Ami that she can be annoying. Since Ami being annoying is what causes Yumi to become the most irritated, Ami decides to get Yumi back by acting more like herself than ever before. In Ami's own words, she will "out-Ami Yumi".
