Answer: Willie Tanner

Willie says that they have an ALF, or Alien Life Form, who crashed into their garage while Willie was in the middle of talking on his HAM radio.
2. We know that ALF was living with the Tanners, but how did ALF get to Earth to begin with?

Answer: He followed Willie's radio signal.

While lost in space, he picked up Willie's amateur radio signal and used it to guide him to the Tanner residence.
3. In what part of the world did the Tanners live?

Answer: San Fernando Valley, California

The Tanner family resided in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles in beautiful, sunny Southern California.
4. We know from previous questions that Willie is a member of the Tanner family; what are the names of the other members?

Answer: Kate, Lynn, and Brian

Willie, the father, Kate, the mother, and Lynn and Brian, the kids, make up the Tanner family. Max, Anne, Andrea, and Benji are the actors' names, Gordon is ALF, Rhonda is his girlfriend, Dorothy is Kate's mom, and Trevor is the next door neighbor. Willie was a social worker. ALF thought he was an insurance agent for Michigan Life and Casualty in one episode.

Neal was Willie's brother (played by Jim J Bullock), Dorothy (played by Anne Meara) was Kate's mom, and Eric was a late addition to the Tanner family, introduced after the actress who played Kate became pregnant in real life.

Trevor and Raquel Ochmonek lived next to the Tanner family. The Kravitzes lived across from the Stephens family in 'Bewitched'. The Mertzes and the Ropers were both landlords in different series, The Mertzes from 'I Love Lucy', and the Ropers from 'Three's Company'.
