Max Medina was one of Rory's teachers while attending Chilton. At first, Rory wasn't too thrilled about her mother dating one of her teachers, but soon Rory became used to them dating. Max was almost Rory's stepfather, but Lorelai ran off and canceled the wedding the day before.

It was Lorelai's turn and Rory got to pick potential husbands for Lorelai. Bachelor #1 was an old guy. Lorelai said, "Who am I? Anna Nicole Smith?" and she passed. Bachelor #2 was a young guy, about Rory's age, and she passed on him, too.

Then Luke walked over to table and Rory asked Lorelai "Since Luke walked over to the table, does that make him #3?" Luke told them that he didn't want to know what they were playing and that he didn't want to be a part of it either. Rory picked one more guy. Bachelor #3 was . . . KIRK! Lorelai said, "Yuck! No way! Can't I go back to the old guy?" Rory said no and then she said, "Daddy!" When Kirk walked in (he didn't hear her though). Lorelai acted like she was flirting with him and then he thought that she was picking on him because someone put a "Kick me" sign on his back. Kirk left the diner, with the Gilmore Girls laughing, shouting, "Did someone put the 'Kick me' sign on my back again? It wasn't funny last week and it isn't funny this week!" Sorry it was long, but every time I see that episode I crack up!

Dean was Rory's first boyfriend at the age of 16. She met him at Stars Hollow High School. He never tried to get her attention and make her like him. Rory already liked Dean without him trying to make her like him. One guy did try to make Rory like him, though. That was Tristan. Tristan, played by Chad Michael Murray, had a crush on Rory during seasons 1 and 2 while they both attended Chilton. Tristan would always bug Rory and try to get her to go out with him. Paris Geller, Rory's friend/enemy, had a huge crush on Tristan while at Chilton and she was always jealous of Rory since Tristan liked her and not Paris.

Logan was Rory's boyfriend through most of season 5. Rory was undercover for this event and was taking notes to write an article for Yale's school newspaper. "The Life and Death Brigade" attempt a dangerous stunt every year at the gatherings, like the one Rory went to, that they have.
