1. How many consecutive correct answers would gain a team the top prize per round in "The Weakest Link" with Anne Robinson on the NBC version?

Answer: 8

The first question was $1,000. It accumulated up to $125,000 after 8 correct answers were given consecutively (as long as "bank" was not called).
2. In Jim Lange's version of "Name that Tune," what was the bonus round called?

Answer: Golden Medley

The "Golden Medley" was the bonus round where a contestant had to guess seven tunes in 30 seconds. They could pass to the next tune, but if they missed one, the game was over. "melody Roulette" and "Bid-A-Note" were other rounds within the game.
3. GSN added new games in 2004.

Answer: True

Some of the new games added were "Kenny vs. Spenny," "Fake-A-Date," and "Who Dares Wins." These shows are also GSN original games. They began on March 15, 2004.
4. The center square on Wink Martindale's "Tic Tac Dough" was worth $300.

Answer: True

It also was $300 with Patrick Wayne (son of the "Duke" John Wayne) as host. Outer squares were worth $200.
5. How many hours were contestants required to stay awake on "Cram"?

Answer: 24

Contestants could not sleep for 24 hours and then were placed on giant hamster wheels to keep them going.

Answer: 1987

According to Pat Sajak's website (www.patsajak.com), "Wheel" stopped giving prizes in 1987. Sajak left the daytime version for a time in 1988 to host a nighttime talk show.

Answer: 6000

The episode aired on March 1, 2004. Bob Barker has hosted all 32 seasons of the show. There have only been sub-hosts when Barker has been out.

Alan Thicke wrote the theme for "Wheel of Fortune," as well as other TV shows.

The game show "Dotto" and the original "21" were the causes of the quiz show scandals. One of "Dotto"s contestants read the answers for future tapings.
