Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In "Greed," what was the teaser prize on the 2nd highest question?

Answer: a car

The cash teasers were in the 5th and 6th questions of the tower. Only on the 7th question was the car involved.
2. Was Vanna White the original hostess of "Wheel of Fortune"?

Answer: No

Vanna White started turning letters in 1982. Susan Stafford was the original letter turner.
3. In "Cram," what level must the team reach to win the bonus round?

Answer: 5

The fewest questions to answer correctly is 5, but for every missed question, the team falls one level.
4. How many possible survey answers were in Dawson's and Combs' renditions of "Family Feud"?

Answer: 12

Dawson and Combs had room for 12 survey answers, but Louie Anderson and Richard Karn only have room for 8, excluding the triple points, where it is 6.
5. Which of the following is not true in John O'Hurley's time as emcee of "To Tell The Truth"?

Answer: There was no time limit

There has always been a time limit on "TTTT," and always have had four panelists. For the first time, the audience was able to cast a 5th vote. The three person team (the true one and two imposters) could win as much as $5,000. This series ended in 2002.
6. What was the minimum required to bet on the Big Bet on "Card Sharks"?

Answer: Half of your winnings

The only bet you were not able to bet as low as $50 was the Big Bet, in which you must bet at least half of your winnings. The $200 is what you start with, and the $400 is on the second line of Bob Eubanks' rendition of "Card Sharks."
7. Has Game Show Network had any interactive games?

Answer: Yes

You can play all of their original series, as well as several older game shows interactive at http://www.gsn.com.
8. How many stoppers would end pulling tiles on a word in "Scrabble"?

Answer: 3

Just like in baseball, three strikes and you're out. It then went to a "speedword" type play and became a toss-up.
9. What is the bonus round called in "Friend or Foe"?

Answer: Right or wrong

It is entitled "Right or Wrong," due to Kennedy telling contestants "Right" or "Wrong" when they lock on an answer.
10. Which of the following game shows was John Ritter a contestant of?

Answer: Family Feud

In tribute to John Ritter, who passed away September 11, 2003, he was on the "Three's Company" team with Norman Fell as the head of the group. John and Joyce DeWitt played the Fast Money when they beat "Soap." John will be truly missed.
