Answer: Julie Newmar

Catwoman was portrayed by three different actresses--Julie Newmar in seasons 1 and 2, Lee Meriwether in the 1966 movie, and Eartha Kitt in season 3. She is by far the most frequently-appearing female villain in the live action television show.
2. Zelda the Great

Answer: Anne Baxter

Zelda the Great was portrayed by Anne Baxter who won an Academy Award for her role in "The Razor's Edge". Zelda was a magician and escape artist who only appears in one pair of episodes during the first season. She seems to be reformed at the end of her appearance and Bruce Wayne arranges a future job for her as the magician in residence at a Gotham City children's hospital. Anne Baxter would appear again during the third season as Olga, Queen of the Cossacks.
3. The Siren

Answer: Joan Collins

Siren was portrayed by Joan Collins who is perhaps best known as Alexis Carrington on the long-running television show "Dynasty". Siren possesses a seven-octave vocal range including the ability to sing a particularly high note that she can use to control the minds of men. Siren appeared in her own episode in the third season as well as in an episode where she assisted the Riddler.
4. Black Widow

Answer: Tallulah Bankhead

Black Widow was portrayed by Tallulah Bankhead, who was primarily a stage actress, although she appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's "Lifeboat". She used various techniques of mind control in her crimes including hypnosis, drugs, and electronic devices. Black Widow was one of the last performances of Tallulah Bankhead.
5. Marsha, Queen of Diamonds

Answer: Carolyn Jones

Marsha was portrayed by Carolyn Jones, perhaps best known as Morticia Addams on "The Addams Family." She appeared in several second season episodes, once teaming up with Penguin. Marsha attempted to steal the "Bat-Diamond" that powered the Bat-Computer in one episode.
6. Lola Lasagne

Answer: Ethel Merman

Ethel Merman is perhaps better known for her work on the Broadway stage--including starring in "Anything Goes" and "Annie Get Your Gun". She played Lola Lasagne, a criminal partner of the Penguin in two third-season episodes. The two attempt a horse-racing scam.
7. Calamity Jan

Answer: Dina Merrill

Calamity Jan was portrayed by Dina Merrill. She appears in two third season episodes as the criminal partner and fiancee of Cowboy criminal Shame. In real life, Dina Merrill was married at the time to Shame actor Cliff Robertson.
8. Nora Clavicle

Answer: Barbara Rush

Nora Clavicle was portrayed by Barbara Rush. She posed as a champion of women's rights in order to convince Mayor Lindsey (after urging by his wife) to make her Police Commissioner. It was all part of a huge plot to destroy Gotham City in order to collect $10,000,000 on an insurance policy she had taken out on the city. Barbara Rush appeared in "It Came From Outer Space" for which she won a Golden Globe in 1954.
9. Lady Penelope Peasoup

Answer: Glynis Johns

Lady Penelope was played by Glynis Johns who also portrayed Mrs. Banks in "Mary Poppins" (1964). Lady Penelope was the criminal partner of her brother Lord Marmaduke Ffogg. They appeared in the three part "Londinium" episodes of the third seasons, where they ran a training school for young criminals.
10. Molly (Riddler's henchwoman)

Answer: Jill St. John

Molly was portrayed by Jill St. John who also portrayed Tiffany Case in the James Bond film "Diamonds are Forever" (1971). This is a special case as Molly is Riddler's henchwoman in the first two episodes. What is significant is that she is the only female character and one of one three characters to die during the entire run of the television show.

She slips and falls into the atomic pile that recharges the Batmobile.
