"Bewitched" ran for eight seasons between 1964 and 1972. Elizabeth Montgomery starred as the charming witch (and also as her look-a-like, kooky cousin) for the show's entire run, with her husband being played by Dick York from 1964 to 1969 and by Dick Sargent for the rest of the series' run.

The underlying tension for the comedy stemmed largely from Darren's desire for his family to be as normal as possible, despite the unpredictability of what living with magic could bring.

"The Partridge Family" ran for four seasons between 1970 and 1974. The show was inspired by the real life family, The Cowsills, who had several pop hits in the 60s and early 70s. "Taxi" ran for five seasons between 1978 and 1983. The eccentricity of the characters provided fodder for the biting wit of the dispatcher, played ably by Danny DeVito. The show launched the careers of many of its stars, including DeVito, Judd Hirsch, Tony Danza, Andy Kaufman and Christopher Lloyd.

Answer: Mork and Mindy

"Mork and Mindy" ran for four seasons, between 1978 and 1982. It was the show that made Robin Williams a star, with his manic genius making the show. Costar Pam Dawber did a fine job of playing straight man to Williams' mania, capably rolling with his unexpected moves.

"Starsky and Hutch" ran for four seasons from 1975 to 1979. It starred Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul as the two hip detectives and Antonio Fargas as their snitch, Huggy Bear. Despite the occasional comedic moments, often surrounding the car, the show was an hour long drama in which the righteous officers usually solved their cases.

Answer: The Ed Sullivan Show

Although known to most as "The Ed Sullivan Show", the official name of the show was originally "Toast of the Town". It ran for an incredible 24 seasons, from 1948 to 1971. The show started out very much as a televised vaudeville show, but stayed current by keeping its finger on the pulse of its viewers. Many people remember watching the night that The Beatles first appeared on the show, during their very first trip to America.
Strangely lacking in any talent of his own, Sullivan managed to create his own little dynasty in showcasing the talents of others.

Answer: Night Court

Starring Harry Anderson, Richard Moll, John Larroquette and Markie Post, "Night Court" ran for nine seasons, from 1984 to 1992. Part time magician Harry Stone set the tone for irreverence in his courtroom, although he always took the law seriously.

Answer: Mary Tyler Moore Show

"Mary Tyler Moore" ran for seven seasons, between 1970 and 1977. Moore played the ever optimistic and always perky Mary Richards, a woman who always tried to see the best in everyone and derived a lesson from every situation. Ed Asner, Gavin McLeod, Ted Knight and Valeri Harper also starred.

Answer: S.W.A.T.

Although it only lasted for two seasons, from 1975 to 1976, "S.W.A.T." (Special Weapons and Tactics Unit) did a good job of making the public aware of the existence of these types of units and introducing the acronym into public usage. A 2003 movie, based on the series, starred Colin Farrell, Samuel Jackson and LL Cool J was moderately more successful.
