1. Believe it or not, Bob actually needed Megabyte's help in destroying the Web's invading forces. Megabyte had a special machine built that could close the portal to the Web. Before Megabyte could finish building it, he called Bob over to the "Tor" because he was having some trouble with a stubborn sprite. Who was giving Megabyte a difficult time?

Answer: Phong

When Bob showed up at Megabyte's lair, he did not expect Phong to act the way he did. Phong told Bob that he could not bring himself to work with a virus. Bob tried to persuade Phong to download the software for Megabyte's portal closing energy beam. Extremely unhappy, Phong obliged and downloaded the software to Megabyte's machine.

2. Inside Megabyte's Armory, Mouse was talking to Dot as they prepared for war. According to Mouse, did she trust Megabyte enough to work with him during the battle?

Because she had already been betrayed by Megabyte and other viruses in the past, Mouse was already sceptical about working with a virus again. She openly admitted that she was not comfortable in working with Megabyte, and that she trusted viruses about as much as the guardians. To back Mouse up, Dot carried a large gun, just in case the viruses decided to double-cross them.

3. As Enzo and AndrAIa readied for battle, Enzo began to tell AndrAIa something that he had lied to her about. Before he could finish, Bob showed up and asked Enzo why he was not in uniform. Enzo was confused but Bob continued. He took Enzo's icon and changed it. Because of the change, Enzo's role was instantly transformed. What did Bob make Enzo?

Answer: A guardian cadet

As Enzo was getting ready to tell AndrAIa that he was not a guardian, Bob showed up and demanded Enzo to tell him why he was not in uniform. Because of the crisis they were in, Bob initiated emergency code 9510. Bob took Enzo's icon and changed it into a guardian icon. Enzo's uniform was also changed to look like the standard armor of the guardians. Enzo was made a first level guardian and once the battle was to end, Enzo was to be sent to the guardian academy and trained in the guardian arts. Circumstances did arise, however...

4. Mouse was running the computers connected to Megabyte's device. With some careful hacking, she ended up removing Mainframe from the Web's directory. Megabyte seemed unusually pleased at that prospect. He then asked Mouse if Mainframe could ever be found from the Web again. How did Mouse respond?

Answer: "Impossible"

As Mouse typed away on her keyboard, Megabyte asked her what she was doing. When Mouse explained to Megabyte that she was wiping Mainframe off of the Web's directory, he seemed quite enthused. He asked her how easy it would be for anything in the Web to locate Mainframe ever again.

She told him that it would be impossible. Megabyte was overjoyed and responded to her skills by calling her a clever girl. The true reason for Megabyte's happiness was not revealed until the later part of the episode.

5. While the scouting Web drones flew around Mainframe, the unthinkable happened. One of the CPU soldiers cracked and ended up killing one of the drones. The rest hovering in Mainframe began to flee back to the Web. Bob told the CPU captain that the CPUs would have to do something in order to prevent the Web's attack drones from going into Mainframe. What did the CPU troops need to do?

Answer: Destroy every single Web drone scout currently heading back to the Web portal.

Because of the scared soldier attacking the harmless drone, the other drones began their ascent back to the Web. Bob told the CPU captain that in order to avoid being attacked by the Web's attack drones, the troops would have to kill all of the scout drones heading back to the Web portal. Two drones did manage to get back into the Web and notify the others of Mainframe's hostility.

The war had officially begun.

6. With the CPUs losing the battle against the Web forces, Megabyte unleashed his armed forces, the ABCs. With the ABCs in the fight, the battle was once again evened out. The CPUs were still getting destroyed by the Web creatures. In fact, one of the crashing CPU ships destroyed a very famous location in Mainframe. What did the crashing CPU destroy?

Answer: Dot's Diner

With the Web's attacking forces out in full force, the CPUs were no contest for them. The ABCs were more in league, but the CPUs were still being attacked by the Web creatures. One of the CPU crafts were rammed in the side by one of the marauding Web creatures.

The craft began to crash down to Mainframe when the pilot ejected. While he was saved, the ship he was in crashed right on top of Dot's Diner, destroying every inch of it in an instant. All that remained was the letter D, and as the viewers learned in season three, Cecil.

7. With Megabyte's portal collapsing hardware fully charged, Megabyte betrayed Bob. As Bob tried to use Glitch to defend himself from Megabyte, he was grabbed. Megabyte took Glitch and crushed it in his hands. He then tossed Bob into a sealed one-man capsule. Before Megabyte closed the portal to the Web, what did he do with Bob?

Answer: He launched Bob into the Web, closing the portal right after Bob was gone.

After Hexadecimal charged up the super-weapon, Megabyte decided to follow through with his dark plan. Megabyte destroyed Dot's strong weapon and then he grabbed Bob. He tossed Bob into a one-man pod built by his scientists. Without Glitch, Bob was powerless.

As Megabyte was ready to press the button and release Bob into the Web, Mouse showed up. Thanks to Hexadecimal, however, Megabyte was free to do his evil. Megabyte took one final glance at Bob before he pressed the eject button. Bob was launched into the Web. Using the hardware he had, Megabyte closed the portal to the Web. Bob was gone, and with Mouse's encryptions on Mainframe, he would have no way to ever return again. Without a guardian, the system would certainly fall.

8. With Bob gone, Megabyte ordered his troops to destroy the remaining CPUs in the sky. As the virals attacked, one of the CPUs said into his comm-link: "The ABCs, they've turned on us. Those treacherous dogs!" The reasoning for the line and naming the enemies the ABCs was simple. The television station where "ReBoot" was aired was called ABC. Why were they considered treacherous dogs?

Answer: ABC cancelled "ReBoot" without any real warning.

According to the creators of the show, ABC just let their show go. Because of that, they decided to make the last episode of season two as controversial to ABC as possible. With the second season ended and no network support, it looked like "ReBoot" was to be finished for good. Thankfully, a network ended up picking up "ReBoot" so a third and darker, season of the show could be made. Even a fourth season with a very abrupt and unpleasant ending was created in 2001.

9. After seeing that Bob was gone and that all that was left of him was Glitch, Enzo and the rest of Mainframe were broken. Megabyte and Hexadecimal transmitted a vid-window message to the sprites in the Principal Office telling them to surrender and accept their new order. Megabyte even re-named Mainframe to suit his own power hungry ways. What did Megabyte rename Mainframe?

Answer: Megaframe

Megabyte told Phong and the other sprites to surrender and give in to his new order in the system called Megaframe. Phong told the virus that he and the others would fight Megabyte to the last. Megabyte was outraged, telling Phong that they had no defenses and that their guardian was lost.

10. When the viruses told everyone inside the Principal Office that there was no guardian to protect their system, everyone accepted that reality.

Because of Enzo's promotion to the guardian ranks merely hours ago, AndrAIa told Megabyte that the system did indeed have a guardian. Unfortunately, due to the lack of guardian training and the possession of a broken keytool, Enzo's defense of Mainframe would be very uncertain. Before concluding the episode, Guardian Matrix vowed to protect his home system and to stop Megabyte and Hexadecimal.
