ReBoot 3.1.4: "Game Over" Trivia Quiz

Hexadecimal certainly did not want to help Megabyte, but because she had a collar on, she had no choice but to obey. She pointed at a location on the firewall and fired a constant stream of viral energy there. The energy produced a small rift through which the virals could slowly stream through.

Answer: She ordered the smart cannons to fire at the outgoing ships from the breach.

Fortunately for the innocent Mainframers, the breach made by Hexadecmimal was very small, only enough for the enemies to file out in two single-file lines. The smart cannons thrashed the incoming viral forces. The straight line provided no defense, so all of the virals leaving the rift were destroyed with no difficulty.

Answer: He and his damaged ship crashed into the newly closed rift.

After Dot's plan to deploy the smart cannons worked better than expected, the remaining virals turned back towards the breach which Hexadecimal caused. Little did they know that Megabyte ordered Hexadecimal to close the rift. Megabyte's military commander had his ship damaged by the smart cannons so he could not steer it properly.

As a result, the commander crashed right into the closed rift, deleting him instantly. Despite the success of her plan, Dot did not choose to celebrate like everyone else.

She was saddened and upset by her victory, because the virals were all once innocent sprites that had been infected.

Answer: How Hexadecimal had not yet broken free of the collar placed on her.

The doctor emphasized how with her power and obvious insanity, Hexadecimal could have easily broken free of the collar they put on her. The doctor then suggested to Megabyte that Hexadecimal may actually enjoy being tied up. Megabyte promptly interrupted the doctor and told him that they should not even think about that.

Answer: No

It's Hack and Slash, when could they ever do anything Megabyte ordered? Hack and Slash were to have Cyrus pulverized in a large mechanical press. All they would have had to do to get the job done was press a button, but Slash did not want to because every time he pressed a button something terrible would happen. Hack reminded him that, that was the point. Slash then said that they missed Bob because he used to stop them before they did anything really bad.

After Hack pressed the button, Slash grabbed Cyrus and set him free. Hack told Slash that he'd tell Megabyte about what Slash did.

Answer: The user only needed to beat five opponents to win, when there were twelve to choose from.

The game was a tournament style fighting game between gods, demons, and mortals. Enzo discovered the problem when he read the game stats. The user needed to win five times to beat the game, but there were twelve characters to choose from. Enzo told AndrAIa and Frisket to reboot as a character while he tried to think innovatively. Enzo tried to reboot as the user's chosen opponents before the game sprites would appear.

Answer: Satan

The user's chosen character was called Satan. It was a big red creature with fiery wings, an energy weapon, glowing eyes, and a massive claw on the right hand. The user's first opponent was Angel. Enzo tried to reboot as him, but could not fast enough. The user brutally defeated the game sprite. The user was efficient, making short work of his first four opponents.

Answer: Scorpion from "Mortal Kombat"

Enzo rebooted as a character named Matrix. The uniform bore some striking similarities with the character Scorpion from the "Mortal Kombat" series of games. Enzo rebooted into the character because the user wanted to fight AndrAIa and Frisket. Enzo did not want to endanger his dog or his girlfriend, so he forced the user to choose him. Whether or not it was the right choice is something for debate.

Answer: His right eye

Enzo won round number one against the user, but was quickly knocked down in round two. In round three, Enzo thought for sure he'd win. Enzo came out strong, landing several hits, until the user went ballistic with his claw. After a few dodges, the user slashed out Enzo's right eye. Overcome with pain, it seemed to be the end then and there.

The user slashed at Enzo with his claw again, but Enzo managed to break the claw. Angry, the user knocked Enzo down and effectively won the game.

Answer: They switched their icons to game sprite mode.

After the user took out Enzo's eye, Enzo was defeated. Before facing the user's brutal finishing move, Enzo, AndrAIa and Frisket switched to game sprite mode, so they could one day make it back to Mainframe. After the switch of their icons, the scene shifted outside of the game to the Principal Office.

They were getting ready for the game to leave. Little did they expect to hear the extra words "the user wins" after "game over". Dot broke down into tears, while Megabyte started laughing. Mainframe was now under the complete mercy of Megabyte, as there was no-one left to protect the system. I hope you enjoyed this quiz!
