As Capacitor entered the bar, Matrix approached the pirate and immediately recognized him. Capacitor obviously did not recognize Matrix, so he immediately jumped to the conclusion that Matrix was a scurvy bounty hunter. As Capacitor ran away, Matrix made the very wise choice to follow him.

Voiced by Mel Gibson's younger brother, Donal Gibson, Ray Tracer was a surfer who frequented the web. He was near invincible, but any strike to his surfboard did large amounts of damage to him. Because he traveled the net without any sort of authorization, Ray was arrested and scheduled for deletion.

Answer: Gavin

Running away blindly, the pirate wound up trapped. Frisket, in hot pursuit, lunged at the captain, but he used his sword to suspend Frisket in mid-air. Looking at the teeth, he recognized the dog from an earlier encounter. When Matrix called the captain Gavin, the captain realized Matrix was once little Enzo. Capacitor asked where Dot and Bob were, but got some depressed answers from Matrix.

After talking with Matrix, Gavin introduced himself to AndrAIa and commended Matrix on his excellent taste in women.

Answer: His entire crew was locked in the prison.

After informing Matrix that his entire crew was in the prison, AndrAIa became optimistic. She told the captain that they had a secret weapon which could break the crew out of the prison, a weapon which could not be stopped. When Capacitor asked what that weapon was, Matrix interrupted and said that he was the weapon.

While AndrAIa distracted the guards with a provocative display involving a lost dog, Matrix shot through the wall of the jail and proceeded to it's inner sanctum. Inside, he freed the captain's crew. He also saw Tracer locked up. Ray wanted help from Matrix, but Matrix told him that he was of no use to him.

The Captain persuaded Matrix to free the surfer. After being freed, the surfer once again needed help, freeing up his board. Irritated by the surfer, Matrix raised his weapon at Tracer and shot at the locker containing his surfboard.

It was clear that Matrix hated the character.

Answer: Frisket

While escaping the guards of the prison, AndrAIa sent Frisket to the docks to free the "Saucy Mare" from the impounders. All it took for Frisket to clear the docks was to walk around and growl. The science binomes were scared and ran away.

Answer: Ray Tracer

Ray Tracer was running from the police himself, so he could not help but notice AndrAIa trapped in an alley. He let his surfboard destroy the guns of the police cars, while he swept in and took away AndrAIa. He offered to take her away from the system, but she said that she had to get to dock 66. Tracer took her without question. Matrix became enraged when he saw the character with AndrAIa.

With the return of AndrAIa, Matrix and the others could finally engage the enemy craft. After Matrix told them to fire at will, the Captain comically asked who Will was, not aware of the order's obvious meaning. In the short battle that ensued, several of the police cars and both of the enemy freighters were destroyed before the crew finally moved through the system's central port.

Answer: The Edge of Beyond

Ray Tracer was the influence for going to The Edge of Beyond. He told the Captain about the locale before escaping the prison, because the police and guardians could not follow them there. The Edge of Beyond also had portals to most of the net's systems, as well as a port to the web.

With the portal generator on the ship gone for good, the Captain thought that everyone was doomed. Luckily for everyone, Ray Tracer decided to tag along. He was a web-surfer so he had the ability to open portals and surf through the web wihtout degrading. Had he listened to Matrix's demands for him to scram, the entire crew would have likely spent the remainder of their days close, but so far away from Bob and Mainframe. How the ship and crew would survive the web is a different episode altogether.
