ReBoot 3.4.1: "Megaframe" Trivia Quiz

Answer: Hexadecimal overloaded it after escaping Megabyte's lair.

Early in season three, Hexadecimal was re-built and imprisoned by Megabyte. The flashback sequence showed what happened afterwords. Hex flew out of Megabyte's lair and ripped off the shock collar placed on her. She then blew up the "Tor" before unloading her energy at the firewall and overloading the nodes.

Trying to see whether or not Megabyte defeated the sprites, Bob and Matrix went to the Principal Office to investigate. What they saw were Megabyte's troops guarding the office, with spotlights and vehicles. Matrix was enraged by what he saw so he started to attack.

The troops destroyed his zip-board and then nearly deleted him, had Bob not saved him with his new powers. With all of the attention drawn onto them, Megabyte was made aware of Bob's return.

Answer: Bob's return meant that Mainframe was back on the Net.

The return from the Web brought good things and bad things to Mainframe. In a good way, everyone returned home from a long adventure. On the flip side, the return put Mainframe back on the Net. The re-activation meant that portals to the Net could be opened by Megabyte. Megabyte was sick of ruling over the dead system that was Mainframe and he wanted to infect bigger and better places. With Bob gone he could not leave, but with his return, the portal was only a few steps away from achieving.

Answer: Mouse

Hack and Slash, overjoyed by the return of Bob and Matrix, decided to take them both to Dot. At first, Dot did not recognize Matrix, but when he called her "sis", she immediately knew who he was. She broke into tears and hugged him, telling him that she thought he was nullified.

She then asked about AndrAIa and Frisket, before Matrix told her he had brought Bob home. The moment was ruined when Mouse was seen kissing Bob. Dot was shocked and all that resulted was a handshake between her and Bob, much to Bob's disappointment.

Answer: To protect Dot.

With the virals inside the office, Phong told everyone to evacuate. A secret compartment opened up in the command room and everyone fled. Dot noticed that Phong did not intend to leave and also realized that Phong might never be seen again. Phong told Hack and Slash to protect Dot. Refusing to leave, Mouse finally dragged Dot away while the secret door closed and disappeared behind them. Merely seconds later, Megabyte burst through the entrance to the command room.

As he raised his weapons, the scene shifted back to the present.

Answer: Megabyte needed the codes to open the tear to the Net.

After the flashback revealed that Megabyte had gotten a hold of Phong, Bob told Dot that he knew exactly what Megabyte did to Phong. The scene shifted to the Principal Office where Megabyte began conversing with Phong's head. Megabyte wanted to know the codes to create a large tear. He needed the tear so he could get out of the dead system and begin his infection of the known Net.

Answer: With his "Extraction Device".

The "Extraction Device" simply electrocuted Phong's head and extracted the codes for the tear. Phong was able to resist the pain and slow down the extraction, but he could not do anything else. Megabyte ordered his men to stop the device. Megabyte told Phong that he could spare himself the pain if he just told them the codes, but he refused and told Megabyte that he would fight them to the end.

Answer: She had lost hope in him and never thought that he would return.

Mouse talked to Dot about what her problem was. Dot assured Mouse that it was not the kiss that Mouse gave Bob that offended her. Dot told Mouse that she just stopped believing in Bob, and in her eyes, she saw herself as a traitor to him. Mouse than reassured her by telling her that Bob loved her and that the only thing that kept the two sprites strong was their love for each other.

Answer: The orb hovering above the Principal Office detonated, producing a large tear.

As everyone looked onto the Principal Office from the outside, the top was seen to explode. In the orb's place was a large tear, more than fit to open a way to the Net and wherever else Megabyte might have wanted to travel. Everyone knew that there was not much time and that an assault would have to be made, lest Megabyte destroy other systems and cities.

Answer: Hexadecimal's lair

After witnessing the top orb of the Principal Office blow up, Bob was enveloped by a yellow light and taken away. He recognized the locale as Hexadecimal's lair in Lost Angles. Hex told Bob that she had been so bored without him around. She then commented that everything would be so much more interesting with him back. Afterwords, the episode concluded.
