Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The episode started at the Mainframe docks. There, the system began it's rapid collapse. With all of the death and destruction, there was still time to parody celebrities and TV shows. Which of the following musicians or television shows were not made fun of?

Answer: Pokemon

Immediately after the destruction began, the KISS binomes could be seen standing atop a large building, flicking their tongues about in a very Gene Simmons-esque manner. After the demise of the KISS binomes, a "Sailor Moon" binome was ready to use her "powers" when a large rock fell on top of her and crushed her. Finally returning back to the show after season two were the two "X-Files" binomes.

The Fox Mulder character got blown up, while the viewer could assume the Scully character got killed, as well. Elvis Presley was also referenced.

He was crushed by a rock. "Indiana Jones" was another reference in the destruction. After Bob's apartment was destroyed, the giant 8-Ball began rolling after a binome wearing the same clothing as Indiana, in a scene directly parodied from "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
2. With all of the death and destruction beyond anyone's control, Matrix suggested that they would need a plan to save everyone. Dot, thought of a plan to make the binomes feel safe. What was Dot's plan?

Answer: To evacuate everyone into the shelter of the Principal Office

Dot's plan was to get all of Mainframe's surviving residents into the Principal Office for shelter. What resulted was a large line stretching as far as the eye could see. While Matrix and AndrAIa were watching over the people entering the office, Mouse and Ray Tracer were spreading the word of the plan and helping anyone in need get to the Principal Office.
3. Cutting to within the Principal Office, Hack and Slash returned to Phong with some good news: they found his body, so his head could be re-attached. According to Hack and Slash, where did they find Phong's body?

Answer: In the trash

As Hack and Slash returned with Phong's body, they began their usual vocation: Hack: "Oooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, we found it." Slash: "Yeah we found it." Hack: "It was right in the trash." Slash: "It was in the trash." Hack: "It's smelly." After returning the body to Phong, Phong commented on how he had begun to feel like half of the sprite he used to be.

When the scientists observed Phong's torso, they nodded to each other with optimism, indicating that they just might be able to re-attach it to Phong.
4. Phong told everyone that they would need to power down the sectors of Mainframe to keep it from crashing. Dot said that the auto controls were destroyed so Phong said that they would have to do it manually, from inside the core. Bob volunteered because he had what to protect himself from the core's energy?

Answer: Glitch

Immediately after Phong told everyone the dilemma, Dot said that no-one could survive such prolonged exposure to the core. Bob than said that he had protection. He didn't know for sure, but he assumed that was the case, especially because he was one with Glitch. Dot said that he couldn't survive in the core, but everyone else just looked at Dot, persuading her to change her mind.

She eventually agreed and told Bob to be careful in the core.
5. After getting everyone into the Principal Office, the unthinkable happened. Undeleted RAM was leaking into the system, putting the user's game characters into Mainframe. Matrix faced Satan once again. That was the character from a fighting game that destroyed his eye and caused his whole game-hopping adventure to begin in the first place. Did Matrix win the fight the second time around?

Answer: Yes

While other user characters from throughout the show appeared in Mainframe, Matrix faced his other childhood demon, Satan. The first time they fought, in episode 3.1.4, the user character cut Matrix's right eye and forced him to lose the game. Because of the loss, he and AndrAIa had to hop games and travel through the Net and the Web to get back home.

This time, however, the battle was very different. Matrix was devastating the user with kicks and punches. Even the one hit the user landed on Matrix did little to phase Matrix and his concentrated anger.

After kicking the user one last time, Matrix pointed his gun at the character and beckoned for it to stand up. With that, Matrix locked his eye on the target and shot it right in the face, killing it instantly.
6. AndrAIa, in the air transporting Old Man Pearson to the Principal Office, came across the users, as well. The first she faced was the user from episode one. She destroyed it fast, but the user from "When Games Collide" almost took her out when she was saved, just in the nick of time, by whom?

Answer: Captain Capacitor

Flying with Pearson unconscious in the back, the user from episode 1.1.1: "The Tearing" appeared. AndrAIa out-maneuvered it and blasted it out of the sky. Shortly afterwords, the user from "When Games Collide" appeared. It originally appeared in an episode where two games landed on top of one another and fused.

The airplane of the game was fused with a dinosaur, so it was mechanical and alive simultaneously. Regardless, as it was getting ready to chomp down on her, Captain Capacitor and his pirates shot it out of the sky with their guns.

They then offered to escort her back to the Principal Office.
7. Entering the core to try and save Mainframe, Bob was met up with Megabyte. Was it really Megabyte in the core with Bob?

Answer: No

After Bob got up to the core to start the powering down process, Bob was met by a simulation of Megabyte. Megabyte created the simulation after he took over the Principal Office, because he anticipated that Bob would return and try to save the dead system.

The simulation was there to taunt and harass Bob, one last time, while he tried to save the system. Bob was not affected by the taunts and went on with the job at hand.
8. With all of the users on the outside taken care of, several users remained on the inside of the Principal Office. Princess Boolah took care of the user from "The TIFF". The Bruce Campbell user, from episode 3.1.1, was taken out by which character?

Answer: Frisket

If you remember, the Bruce Campbell user appeared in episode 3.1.1 "To Mend and Defend". He was originally in a zombie game, used a shotgun and a chainsaw and said nothing but the word "groovy". Near the end of episode 3.1.1, the user shot Frisket in the chest.

In this episode, the user was shooting at Hack, Slash and Dot. Out of nowhere, Frisket popped out and charged at the user. This time around, the user did not have a chance to shoot, so Frisket got his revenge and killed the character.
9. After finishing his assignment in the core, Bob asked Dot a question. What was it that he asked her, in his weakened state?

Answer: "System, out of danger?"

After stopping the rapid destruction of Mainframe, Bob was taken back to the Principal Office control room by Matrix and AndrAIa. Bob asked a question, that a very similar character previously asked: "System, out of danger?" The first time the quotation appeared was in episode 3.2.2: "Where No Sprite Has Gone Before".

The character Rob Cursor, who looked a lot like Bob, asked the exact same question to Matrix after he was crushed and the two viruses of the system were killed. Rob died, but Bob lived.
10. After Bob averted the system crash, Phong told Bob about the situation Mainframe was in. What did Phong tell Bob?

Answer: Mainframe was still doomed.

After another Bob and Dot romantic moment was ruined, this time by a user, Phong told Bob that even though Bob averted the system crash, Mainframe was still doomed. Bob, just delayed the inevitable collapse of the system. Unbeknownst to everyone but Bob, Bob had one more plan to save Mainframe. It would not be made public until the next episode.
