Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Episode 21: "My Sacrificial Clam"- JD gets jabbed with a needle from a Hepatitis patient. How do his test results come out?

Answer: Negative

JD is obviously relieved at the news, but he has residual fear of getting sick as a result, avoiding one of the more contagious patients. The janitor is up to his usual tricks, showing very little sympathy (until the end of the episode, which JD mistakes for sarcasm).
2. Episode 22: "My Occurrence"- Cox's former brother-in-law and friend, Ben, turns up to the hospital with an injury, but his blood tests show an alarming result, which JD questions. Does it turn out to be an error that someone in the hospital made?

Answer: No

In a surreal twist, much of this episode is JD's fantasy, where he finds an error from the pathologist. In reality, Ben has leukemia, and there was no mistake at all.
3. Episode 23: "My Hero"- How does the janitor find out about some of JD's personal secrets?

Answer: He reads JD's diary

We find out in this episode, through the janitor, that JD's middle name is Michael and that his first girlfriend was a girl called Sarah Briggs.
4. Episode 24: "My Last Day"- In the season 1 finale, which character reveals a series of secrets about several other people?

Answer: Jordan

Jordan reveals that Dr Kelso is leading on Dr Cox about a job that no longer exists; that Dr Cox is still in love with Carla; that Elliot still has feelings for JD; and that JD and Jordan slept together.
5. Episode 25: "My Overkill"- Dr Cox forgives JD for sleeping with his ex-wife in this episode.

Answer: True

Cox's willingness to forgive JD actually troubles JD more, as it is out of character. Cox is also treating JD with much less emotion. However, at the end of the episode, things revert to normal, with Cox unleashing a barrage of insults when JD doesn't respond to a page.
6. Episode 26: "My Nightingale"- Which character swaps shifts so they can help their friends at the hospital on a night where they have no backup?

Answer: Carla

Carla secretly swaps shifts to help out Turk, JD and Elliot in Dr Cox's absence. They get through a very busy night unscathed.
7. Episode 27: "My Case Study"- When the janitor says he needs a new mop, and JD buys one for him, he is extremely grateful.

Answer: False

The janitor attempts to get a new mop on Kelso's anniversary day, the one day of the year that he is likely to grant requests. But JD's gesture goes unappreciated, with the janitor announcing he liked his old mop better.
8. Episode 28: "My Big Mouth"- The janitor gangs up with a man named Troy to taunt JD in this episode. Who is Troy?

Answer: A cafeteria worker

JD inadvertently accuses them of being stupid, causing them to pretend they are very much so, and can't do simple things like use a phone. In an amusing JD fantasy scene, we see the two bathing in egg salad.
9. Episode 29: "My New Coat"- What does JD wear in this episode to make him feel more like a doctor?

Answer: A white lab coat

Several characters are having crises of identity in this episode, including Elliot, who has a one-night stand with a doctor.
10. Episode 30: "My Big Brother"- JD's brother comes to visit in this episode. His name is Dan and he still lives with his mother.

Answer: True

Dan is played by Tom Cavanagh, and quickly develops a crush on Elliot, much to JD's annoyance.
