Carrie calls Big in the middle of the night and tells him she is feeling lonely. She asks to come over, for company only, and shows up at his apartment to find out that he is moving to California.

Big tells Carrie that he bought a wine vineyard in Napa, California and he's leaving at the beginning of the week. Carrie is disappointed that he didn't call her to let her know he was leaving.

Carrie laughs at Big because he has no furniture, yet his albums and turntable are still not packed. Carrie is looking through his records and finds "Blood, Sweat and Tears" in the collection. Big plays "Moon River" for Carrie and explains that the album belonged to his parents, and "Moon River" was their favorite song. Carrie goes out with Big on Sunday night. They go to dinner and then dancing, and then Carrie takes Big on a horse-and-buggy ride through Central Park. While in the buggy, she gets a call on her emergency cell phone from Miranda. Miranda tells Carrie that she is in labor. Carrie and Big cut their date short so Carrie can go to the hospital to be with Miranda.

They agree to meet for lunch the next day, but Miranda's labor lasts through lunchtime. After the baby is born, Carrie rushes to try and catch Big before he goes, but she gets there too late. Big has already left for California.

When Miranda calls Carrie to tell her she is in labor, she says she is catching a cab and asks Carrie to meet her at Mount Sinai hospital. Mount Sinai Hospital is located on Madison Avenue in Manhattan.

Richard tells Samantha that the woman she saw him with was just a business associate and that he had salad and salmon for lunch. He tells her there is nothing going on and that he isn't cheating on her. However, we later learn that he was lying.

Charlotte is guiding a tour group through the museum when she sees Trey escorting his mother through the Monet exhibits. Bunny makes a comment that she dislikes Monet, calling him a sap. Charlotte brings the group into the Exhibitionists section, to avoid a confrontation with Bunny and Trey.

Answer: Eric

Eric and Charlotte go back to her apartment after their date. Charlotte plans on sleeping with Eric to help her move on from Trey. When they get to the apartment, however, Eric is amazed at the size of Charlotte's apartment, and seems to be angry about it. He tells Charlotte that he lives in a studio, and says he can't meet anyone suitable for him. Charlotte shows him the door.

Carrie spots these shoes while walking on the street with Miranda. Miranda had just asked Carrie to be with her in the delivery room when the time came. Miranda stated that she needed something normal to focus on, since Steve would probably be crying.

Samantha bought a short, brunette wig from the Raquel Welsh wig line to disguise herself as she followed Richard on his lunch hour. Samantha followed him back to his apartment, where she caught him with another woman. She lifted the framed picture (featuring three hearts) that she had given him earlier in the episode and smashed it on the floor, and said, "There. Now your heart is broken too."

Carrie finds two items waiting for her when she gets to the apartment. The Henry Mancini album they had listened to with a note on it that reads, "In case you ever get lonely". She then finds an envelope behind the album. The caption on the envelope reads, "In case I ever get lonely". Carrie opens it and finds an airline ticket to Napa. Continental appears at the top, left-hand corner of the ticket.
