1. Alabama

Answer: Any Day Now

¨Any Day Now" aired on Lifetime from 1998 to 2002. The show lasted for four seasons and 88 episodes. Annie Potts and Lorraine Toussaint starred as two childhood friends from Birmingham, Alabama in the 1960s who were reunited as adults. The episodes included flashback scenes from the 1960s with scenes set in the then-present turn of the century. Civil Rights and racial issues were a common theme in the series.
2. Alaska

¨Northern Exposure" aired on CBS from 1990 to 1995. The show ran for six seasons and 110 episodes. The show starred Rob Morrow as a young man from New York who agreed to move to Alaska for a number of years in return for the state paying for his medical school education. Assigned to the small town of Cicely, Alaska, he interacted with Cicely's citizens including a bush pilot portrayed by Janine Turner.
3. Arizona

Answer: Alice

¨Alice", airing on CBS from 1976 to 1985, was based on the 1974 movie ¨Alice Doesn´t Live Here Anymore¨. Airing for nine seasons and 202 episodes, the series told the story of the widow Alice (portrayed by Linda Lavin) and her son who ended up settling in Phoenix, Arizona, when their car broke down there during a cross-country trip to California. Alice had a long-term job as a waitress at Mel´s Diner, owned by Mel (portrayed by Vic Tayback).
4. Arkansas

Answer: Evening Shade

¨Evening Shade¨ aired on CBS from 1990 to 1994. Running for four seasons and 98 episodes, the show told the story of an ex-football player portrayed by Burt Reynolds. He moved to the town of Evening Shade, Arkansas, to coach the high school football team. Marilu Henner portrayed his wife. The show was a top 20 hit during its second and third seasons.
5. California

Answer: Dharma and Greg

¨Dharma & Greg" aired on ABC from 1997 to 2002. Airing for five seasons and 199 episodes, Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson portrayed a young couple who came from radically different backgrounds--she as a flower child whose parents were ¨hippies" and he from a wealthy conservative background. The show emphasized the interaction (and sometimes conflict) of the two worlds. The show was set in San Francisco, CA.

An easy way to tell the difference between the two is whether or not snow appears in some episodes or scenes since it very seldom snows in the Los Angeles area.
6. Colorado

¨Community" aired on NBC from 2009 to 2015. Airing for six seasons and 110 episodes, the show focused on a group of students attending a community college in the fictional town of Greendale, Colorado. Joel McHale starred as a former lawyer who was forced to enroll in the school when he was discovered to have not actually earned a bachelor´s degree.

Other members of the cast include Gillian Jacobs and Danny Pudi.
7. Connecticut

Answer: Gilmore Girls

¨Gilmore Girls" aired from 2000 to 2007 with most of its run on the WB with its final season on the CW. The show ran for seven season and 153 episodes and was set in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, CT. Lauren Graham portrayed a woman who as a teenager gave birth to her daughter, portrayed by Alexis Biedel.

The show focused on the ambitions of mother and daughter and their complicated relationships with other family members and the people of the town.
8. Delaware

Answer: Whatever Happened to...Robot Jones?

¨Whatever Happened to...Robot Jones?" aired on the Cartoon Network from 2002 to 2003. The animated series ran for two seasons and 26 episodes (plus a pilot). Robot Jones (voiced by a text to voice program in the first season and Bobby Block in the second season) was a robot who was attending a futuristic high school in an unnamed small city in Delaware. (Real Life Check: The actual most populous city in Delaware is Wilmington with about 72,000 (2016 estimate) and no other city over 40,000.). The robot explored experiences common to teen-aged life.
9. Florida

Answer: The Golden Girls

¨The Golden Girls" aired on NBC from 1985 to 1992. The show, airing for seven seasons and 180 episodes, focused on four older women who shared a house in Miami, Florida. The cast included Bea Arthur as Dorothy, Betty White as Rose, Rue McClanahan as Blanche, and Estelle Getty as Sophia.

A spin-off, ¨The Golden Palace" ran for one season (1992-1993) and featured the main cast minus Bea Arthur.
10. Georgia

Answer: Designing Women

¨Designing Women" aired on CBS from 1986 to 1993. The show ran for seven seasons and 163 episodes and focused on the owner and employees of an interior design firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Dixie Carter starred as the owner of the firm and Delta Burke as her ex-beauty queen sister. The show was a top 10 hit during its fifth and sixth seasons.
