5. Vermont

"Newhart" aired on CBS from 1982 to 1990. Lasting for eight seasons and 184 episodes, the series starred Bob Newhart as the owner of an inn in rural Vermont. Mary Frann portrayed his wife and Tom Poston portrayed the inn's handyman. Nominated for twenty five Emmy Awards but never winning any, the series may be best known for its surprise conclusion.
The viewer discovered the show was a dream when Bob Newhart's character woke up next to Suzanne Pleshette, who portrayed his wife on "The Bob Newhart Show" (1972-1978).
6. Virginia
Answer: A Different World
"A Different World", a spin-off of "The Cosby Show", aired on NBC from 1987 to 1993. Lasting for six seasons and 144 episodes, the show was set at Hillman College, a Historically Black College located in Virginia. The first season had a different feel than the rest of the series as it starred Lisa Bonet who portrayed daughter Denise Huxtable on "The Cosby Show". Bonet left the series after the first year and the stars then included Jasmine Guy and Kadeem Harrison.

"Frasier" aired on NBC from 1993 to 2004. Lasting for eleven seasons and 264 episodes, the show starred Kelsey Grammer who portrayed the titular psychiatrist who first appeared on "Cheers". David Hyde Pierce starred as his younger brother who was also a psychiatrist.
The show was set in Seattle, WA, and featured guest appearances by several character from "Cheers". The theme song "Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs" was performed by Kelsey Grammer.
8. West Virginia

The series was set in Absaroka County, a fictional county in Wyoming. Robert Taylor starred as the county sheriff and Katee Sackhoff as his deputy.
