Answer: They thought she was a witch

During the first episode, Maka and Soul managed to collect all ninety nine Kishin Egg souls and needed a witch soul to transform Soul into a Death Scythe. However, it turned out that Blair was actually a cat who could turn into a human and perform magic, so all Kishin Egg souls were confiscated and the duo would have to start all over again.

Answer: He has obsessive-compulsive disorder

Death the Kid, the Shinigami son of Lord Death, has obsessive-compulsive disorder that causes him to freak out over anything asymmetrical. He hates it when people mention his hair, because he would be perfectly symmetrical if not for the three white lines on one side of his head. He can often be seen coughing up blood, screaming, fainting, or crying around anything asymmetrical.

Answer: Ragnarok, made out of Crona's blood

Medusa the snake witch, Crona's mother, melted a demon sword called Ragnarok and injected it into her child, Crona's, blood, turning it black. Ragnarok will often pop out of Crona's back and bully him/her, or demand that s/he fight.

Answer: To surpass God

Black*Star, being very arrogant, will often make speeches about how he is "the biggest guy around" and how he will surpass God Himself. The only person who isn't ever annoyed by his speeches is Tsubaki, his weapon.

Answer: Justin Law

Justin Law became a Death Scythe at age 15, the youngest ever. His weapon form is a guillotine, and he is among the few weapons who doesn't need a Meister to fight.

Answer: He cheated on her mom

Spirit Albarn, Maka's father, was well known for being a playboy and cheating. He loves Maka deeply, but she is disgusted with him and refuses to acknowledge him as her father.

Answer: Beelzebub

Death the Kid can make a skateboard appear with his two rings called Beelzebub. He often rides it long distances, as seen when riding it to Egypt in episode 3, and it can retract its wheels and ride above ground. Kid enjoys showing off and performing tricks on Beelzebub, regardless of the circumstances. Beelzebub can go at incredible speeds, as seen when Kid catches up with the fastest train in the world on it.

Answer: He pulls up his/her dress in front of Maka and Soul

Even though Crona is gender neutral, s/he always wears a long black dress, except during the DWMA founding party, where s/he is seen wearing a white suit. After Maka and Crona's battle, Maka offers to allow Crona to stay at the DWMA. Crona accepts, much to Ragnarok's displeasure. Ragnarok lifts up Crona's dress as Crona tries to fight him off. S/he tells Maka and Soul that s/he'll be fine, and the two leave Crona to fight Asura.

Answer: Death Weapon Meister Academy

The DWMA is run by Lord Death, the Grim Reaper. It is a special academy for weapons and meisters to pair up and destroy witches and Kishin Eggs to preserve peace. In the words of Lord Death: "I guess it's not exactly an ordinary school. Oh, well, that's beside the point. For now, let's just roll up our sleeves and get to work!"

Answer: He's a coward

Despite being extremely powerful, the Kishin Asura is a huge coward. If there is any noise near his hiding place, he will rush to find a new one. When he was human, he was know for wearing huge layers of one hundred scarves around his face and never once spoke.
