At the beginning of the episode, Cartman is bragging that he has more friends than Kyle and the guys secretly make Stan his own Facebook page.

Remember that Kyle pressures Stan to help him with his farm, and not to add him as a friend. In addition, Randy Marsh forces Stan to add his grandmother as a friend, even though we do not see Stan's grandmother until the end of the episode.

Cartman treats friends like stocks and tells everyone to delete "stock" in Kyle's friend portfolio and to add Clyde Donovan.

The funny thing is that Kip tells his parents that he is going with Kyle to the movies, but he instead brings his computer to the movies and logs on Facebook. Although Kyle eventually deletes Kip as a friend (since he is "bad friend stock"), all is well at the end of the episode because Kip inherits all of Stan's friends.

Eric Cartman first suggested for Kyle to delete Kip Drordy, but Kyle felt that it was the mean thing to do, so Cartman brought Kyle on Chatroulette, which is subsequently ripped on for hosting lewd activities. Kyle eventually meets another Jewish kid and they briefly become friends.

Also, to clarify, Kyle does drop Kip Drordy from his friends, but that is to get his old friends back rather than to make new friends.

Because Stan has so many Facebook friends, his profile is much stronger than the average one, and when Stan tries to delete his account, it sucks him into the world of Facebook.

Shortly after Kyle deletes Kip as a friend (leaving him with 0 friends again), an influx of close to 850,000 friends become linked to Kip's account.

This is the last part of the episode, as Stan's dad notices that because Stan deleted his account, that they were not "technically" friends anymore. Randy Marsh asks Stan if they are friends and asks him to friend him on Facebook, and Stan basically tells him off.

Kyle is heavily concerned with his Farmville account and how his lack of friends will effect it. When Stan gets sucked into his computer, he visits Kyle's farm and trashes it until Kyle helps Stan locate his runaway profile.
