Livewire, or Lesley Willis, was a radio DJ on a CatCo. owned station before turning to a life of crime.

She was struck by lighting while Supergirl was trying to save her helicopter in early season one. That turned her into Livewire. She returned to for an episode later in season one, and again for this episode in season 2.

Winn was upset when he saw the bullet hole on James' left arm. James told him it was ok he was only "a little" shot.

The two of them then debated on if it was time to tell Kara their secret or not.

M'gann was a white martian that had disguised herself as a green martian earlier in the season. The DEO crew had arrested her and was holding her when she became ill. Hank was the only one who might be able to help her, using the martian mind melding abilities. Initially he refused because the white martians had destroyed his people. Eventually he agreed to help her.

Her was injured during the fight with Livewire and Supergirl took his helmet off, revealing his identity to her.

Winn told everyone in the DEO that he couldn't find her, then he called James and told him that he had found her.

A few minutes later Livewire was attempting to kill the scientist, and agreed to let him live if Supergirl didn't arrest her.

Supergirl said she couldn't promise Livewire would never go to jail, ut agreed not to chase her down right away if she didn't kill the scientist.

They made a bet early in the episode about Kara getting into a jail cell using only her press credentials. Alex won and the girlfriend had to stay the night at her house.

Later in the episode Maggie won another bet and Alex had to agree to eat vegan ice cream. She wasn't happy about it.
