1. Supergirl

Also known as Kara Danvers and Kara Zor-El, Benoist was cast as the star of the show from among thousands who auditioned.
Benoist was previously one of the cast members of "Glee". She also has guest appearances on "Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow" as the character.

Brooks marked the first time that Olsen was portrayed as being black in an official medium.
