Kathleen Robertson portrayed the character of Clare from seasons four through seven of "90210". The character was originally a bit part, introduced in season four's "Change Partners" and was a recurring role for the rest of that season. While he was stuck there, Clare's father came over to the apartment because he wanted to see where she was living. They managed to cover David up and get a locksmith to come over and free him later.

In the sixth season, Clare and Steve were spending the night in a hotel at the beginning of their relationship, and Steve found handcuffs in the closet. They had been left behind by some policemen who had attended a conference at the hotel, but he assumed that they were Clare's because he'd heard her other handcuff stories, and this led to a big fight between them.
