Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Sam and David Camden are the youngest two of the seven children of a pastor and his wife. What show were they on?

Answer: Seventh Heaven

The roles of twins, Sam and David Camden were originally played by the Brino quadruplets. As they got older, only two of them, Lorenzo and Nikolas Brino carried on as the youngest members of the Camden family. "Seventh Heaven" aired its series finale in the Spring of 2006 but the series was picked up again when the WB merged with UPN to become the CW.

When the series started in 1996, Lorenzo and Nikolas were not even born yet.
2. Twins Brandon and Brenda Walsh moved to California from Minneapolis in which show?

Answer: Beverly Hills 90210

Jason Priestley and Shannen Doherty played the fraternal Walsh twins who moved to posh Beverly Hills as high school teens. Jason, in real life, is two years older than Shannen. The series started out about a bunch of teens in a Beverly Hills high school.

The teens later graduated, went on to college and later began working. By the time the series ended, both Walsh twins had left the show.
3. Michael and Lyndsay Bluth were told they were twins, but Lyndsay was later revealed to be adopted on what television comedy?

Answer: Arrested Development

These so-called twins from "Arrested Development" were portrayed by Jason Bateman and Portia De Rossi. While both actors were born in January, Jason was born four years before Portia.
4. Ursula was a waitress in NBC's "Mad About You". Her twin, Phoebe Buffay was a masseuse-cum-folk singer-songwriter in which other NBC sitcom?

Answer: Friends

"Friends" was a show about six friends living in New York City. Before the series started, Lisa Kudrow had the recurring role of Ursula Buffay on "Mad About You". She was later cast as the quirky, ditzy and optimistic Phoebe on "Friends". As one of the mainstays of the show, Lisa also did double duty as both Ursula and Phoebe in several episodes.
5. Preston and Porter Scavo are the very mischievous twin sons of Lynette and Tom Scavo in what television show?

Answer: Desperate Housewives

"Desperate Housewives" featured a neighbourhood of families with different quirks. The twins were among the four children of Tom and Lynnette Scavo, both ad execs at one time or another, trying to cope with having four kids. Preston and Porter are portrayed by real-life twins Brent and Shane Kinsman.

They also played twins as part of the 12 children of Steve Martin in the "Cheaper By The Dozen" movies.
6. Mary-Kate is a tomboy who would rather play ball than study and Ashley is a straight-A student who is starting to notice boys. Opposites as they are, the Burke twins joined forces to bring some fun to the life of their Science professor father in what youth-oriented comedy?

Answer: Two of a Kind

The famous Olsen twins portrayed one character, Michelle, on "Full House" from 1987 to 1995. After growing up before the TV audiences, they finally played the more familiar role of twin sisters on "Two of a Kind".
7. Geoffrey and Michael Barone were twin sons of Ray and Debra on what CBS comedy?

Answer: Everybody Loves Raymond

"Everybody Loves Raymond" was a comedy about the Barone family. The show's star, Ray Romano said that there were many parallels between his life and that of the fictional Barones, including his having twin boys. Sawyer and Sullivan Sweeten, real life identical twins played Raymond and Debra Barone's twin boys for the whole series, nine seasons.

They were just babies when the series started and stayed on 'til the end of the series nine seasons later. America watched them literally grow up on the air.

Their sister, Madylin Sweeten was also their sister on the show as Ally Barone.
8. Mitchee is serious and intelligent and Farrah is beautiful but not-so-smart. Playing twin sisters on this short-lived comedy is what put them on this quiz.

Answer: Twins

Portrayed by Sara Gilbert (who grew up before the TV audience as Darlene Conner in "Roseanne") and Molly Stanton, these twins have opposite personalities but join forces to keep the business they inherited running. While they play twins on TV, these young ladies are actually five years apart in age.
9. This comedy showcased the talents of two very young identical twins who played Nicky and Alex Katsopolis.

Answer: Full House

"Full House" was originally about a widowed father who was raising three young daughters alone, with the help only of his brother-in-law and best friend (both of who were also bachelors). Later in the series, "Uncle Jesse", the brother-in-law, got married and had twin boys. Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, identical twins in real life, portrayed the sons of Jesse and Becky Katsopolis.

Their on-air cousin, Michelle, was a role that was shared by real-life twins Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen.
10. This Disney kid-oriented show featured the twins Zack and Cody Martin.

Answer: The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Identical twins Dylan and Cole Sprouse portrayed these TV twins. Born in August 1992, the boys were almost 13 years old when the show first aired in 2005.
