Queen Maeve was a member of the Seven, the superhero crimefighting team with a big media and merchandising presence. She was in a relationship with a woman called Elena, which caused friction with her ex-lover, Homelander.

She was played by Dominique McElligott. Born in Dublin in 1986, her movies include "Moon" (2009) and "The Guard" (2011).

Answer: Hugh Campbell Senior

Hughie, one of the Boys, starts the show living with his father, Hugh Campbell Senior. Hughie's father was a timid person, whose wife walked out on him and his son.

The elder Campbell is played by Simon Pegg, who was born in Gloucestershire in 1970. His movies include "Hot Fuzz" (2007) and "Star Trek" (2009) (as Scotty). The character of Hughie in the original comic of "The Boys" was based on him.

"Little Nina" Namenko is a member of the Russian mafia who used to be Frenchie's employer and dominating lover.

Homelander was the leader of the Seven. The most powerful of them all, he was also an orphan, insecure, and vicious, one of the main villains of the show.

Born in Wellington in 1975, Antony Starr has appeared on TV in "Outrageous Fortune" (2005-2010), and in the movie "After the Waterfall" (2010). He won two "Critics' Choice Super Awards" in 2021, for his portrayal of Homelander - Best Villain and Best Actor in a Superhero Series.

The Lamplighter's super power was to be able to control fire and attack people with it. He was a former member of the Seven, who was suspected of committing an atrocity.

Shawn Ashmore, born in British Columbia in 1979, played Lamplighter. He has appeared as Iceman, one of the X-Men, in multiple movies, and was a series regular in the TV series "The Rookie" from 2018.

Answer: Frenchie

Frenchie, aka Serge or Sergei was one of The Boys, skilled at chemistry and devising methods of killing apparently invulnerable superheroes. He built up a relationship with Kimiko, learning her sign language.

Frenchie was played by Tomer Capone, who was born in Holon, Israel, in 1985. His movies include "One Week and a Day" (2016) and "Entebbe" (2018).

Answer: Translucent

Translucent was a member of the Seven who could make himself invisible and had almost impenetrable skin. A voyeur, he made full use of his powers to spy on people in compromising positions.

Translucent was played by Alex Hassell. Born on Southend, Essex, in 1980, Alex Hassell's TV roles have been varied, ranging from "The Private Life of Samuel Pepys" (2003) to "Cowboy Bebop" (2021).

Answer: Black Noir

Black Noir was a valued member of the Seven, who was previously part of their predecessor as leading superhero team, "Payback". He was a ninja, masked, facially disfigured, largely mute, and a skilled musician, who was sometimes depicted with his imaginary friends.

Nathan Mitchell, who played Black Noir, was born in Ontario in 1988. He has appeared on TV shows such as "Falling Skies" (2011) and "Supernatural" (2017).

Answer: Starlight

Starlight was a member of the Seven. She was raised as a devout Christian in Des Moines, Iowa, and took part in superhero pageants from a young age. She had the ability to concentrate and focus electrical power.

Starlight is played by Erin Moriarty, who was born in 1994 in New York City. She has appeared in movies such as "Captain Fantastic" (2016 and "Kong: Skull Island" (2017).
