What I'd like to know is why he doesn't mute the phone when she calls. He can see it is her number, and there is no law we have to answer a cell phone every time someone calls it. Of course he does, and she reacts calmly and apologetically. He instantly seems sorry he was so mean, but I can tell she is crazier than he realizes.

Rico had forgotten all about the party, and when he later calls Sophia to cancel their plans, he leaves the message on his home answering machine by mistake. So, Vanessa cancels Cassidy and after Rico realizes his mistake in dialing, she calls her back.

At this point the "Sophia rope" around Rico's neck is getting tighter. He has never had sex with her at this point, but she did perform an act for him on their first meeting.

She agreed he could see the boys and suggested he come over to their house to play, since it would be more convenient. Rico started to get his hopes up that she was softening toward him, little did he know she was actually setting him up to be hurt.

Adam Rodriguez played the very nice looking Kenny Simms. Adam also portrayed Eric Delko on the TV series "CSI:Miami" and Jesse Ramirez on the sci-fi series "Roswell". Vanessa looked great in this scene. She'd whitened her teeth, blown her curly hair out straight, had a nice figure hugging blouse and jeans on, and a smile that told Rico all he needed to know. Of course, it was not what he though he knew, but a little dress up for tall, sexy Kenny Simms!
