The next day, they were back on the motorcycle heading to Le Mans, and stopped to have a picnic (as if Jo would do that), and argued over who would rescue the old lady's cat. Of course the cat was not truly stuck, because if they get up there, they can always get down.

As Blair exited the bookstore, Jo and David walked up and went inside. The two girls never saw each other. The nice man was David's boss, and David returned to Paris to work so the man could be at the hospital with his wife. Jo gave up her trip to Le Mans to be with David.
