When Melinda met Stan and made things right between the couple, she finally became a comedian again in the same bar as Stan. She was very successful and finally made her dream come true by just being a comedian to make people laugh again.

Daniel wanted to ensure that his baby sister would have a better life than he had when he was alive. After he died in a car accident, he haunted his mother and sister because he was trying to protect his baby sister and make sure she was safe with the help of Melinda, before he would go into the light.

The African-American man was jumped and murdered by a white person he had been working with in the 1970s. The guy was not charged for his murder even though there was evidence proving it. He started haunting the prosecuting attorney since he was the one who failed to file charges against the co-worker for his murder.

When the ghost and Melinda met, she tried to help him find his justice and to stop his son from being a racist so he could stop racism in the future.

Melinda met, fell deeply in love with and married Jim. Jim was charming, loving, caring and didn't think twice about believing Melinda when she shared her gift with him. Even though he didn't understand a lot of things and they went through a lot of tough times together, he loved her unconditionally.

He was accidentally shot by a cop in the arm later on in season four. He dies from an embolism in the hospital after surgery the same night he was shot.
