Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In season 1, Christopher was introduced as a protege of Tony Soprano, the up-and-coming boss of the New Jersey crime family. But Christopher was torn between his duties to The Family and his personal interest in something else. What was this interest?

Answer: He wanted to be a screenwriter or Hollywood player

Christopher was always interested in the movies and he pursued a life in show business sporadically throughout the show. Tony, who wanted to see Christopher commit to the Mafia lifestyle, did not really approve of Christopher's outside interests, and it caused conflict between the two.
2. Christopher's long-term girlfriend and later fiancée was Adriana La Cerva.

Answer: True

Although Christopher was not faithful to Adriana, they were a couple for many years and were planning on getting married. She encouraged him with his screen writing, and he encouraged her with her interest in music by buying her a club.
3. Christopher referred to Tony as his what?

Answer: All of these

Tony and Christopher seemed to use nephew and cousin interchangeably, but it was explained in some detail when Adriana was talking to her FBI handler, Agent Sanseverino. Adriana explained that Tony was very close friends with Christopher's father Dickie Moltisanti, so much so that he thought of Dickie's son as his own nephew. Christopher was first cousin once removed with Tony's wife, Carmela. And Adriana indicated that Christopher and Tony were indeed cousins, only "way back." They also shared a cousin, Tony Blundetto.

It sounds odd on paper, but it seemed very normal on the show.
4. The "Pine Barrens" episode in season three was a fan favorite. During this episode, Paulie Walnuts and Christopher were sent to collect a debt from a Russian. Things went downhill quickly, and what happened to Paul and Christopher?

Answer: They got lost overnight in the snow

"Pine Barrens" is a fan favorite in large part because of the banter between Paulie and Christopher while they were lost in the snow. The two were not even sure what happened to the Russian they brought there to bury - he got the better of them with a shovel and ran off, never to be seen again.
5. It was like a dream come true when Christopher was invited to the production of a movie scene. Who was the famous actor/director, known for his role in "Swingers", that Christopher met?

Answer: Jon Favreau

Christopher was thrilled to be watching Jon Favreau direct Janeane Garofalo and Sandra Bernhard, and even contributed a word to the dialogue (one not to be repeated here!). Later, Christopher talked to Favreau about his script, but Favreau was so freaked out by Christopher's drug-induced hyperactivity and firearm that he wanted nothing to do with him after that.
6. Much to Tony's chagrin, Christopher was a regular drug user for most of the show. Christopher's girlfriend Adriana used drugs herself, but did not approve of how much Christopher used, especially after he did one particular thing. What was it?

Answer: He sat on her dog and broke its neck

Christopher used drugs for the duration of the show, with brief bouts of sobriety. He didn't get much support from Tony or the other guys when he was sober, as they would tease him about his non-alcoholic beer or inability to control his habits. Adriana was a supportive girlfriend overall, but she was, of course, horribly stricken when Christopher inadvertently killed her dog, Cosette.
7. The viewers were privy to the ceremony of making Christopher a made man. We saw the needle, blood, picture of St. Peter, and fire. What did Christopher see that seemed like a bad omen to him?

Answer: A raven on the windowsill

Christopher was made in the episode "Fortunate Son" at the beginning of season three. This means more money, of course, but also more conflict with his capo, Paulie. Tony later told Christopher that he would be turning over the family to him someday in the future.
8. Christopher was one of Tony's most trusted men, and thus more than once called on him to help clean up a murder. Whose body did Christopher NOT help dispose of?

Answer: Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero

Christopher was not involved in the killing of mobster-turned-FBI-informant Big Pussy. But, he did help Tony dispose of Ralphi Cifaretto's body after Tony killed him, and Richie April's body after Tony's sister Janice shot him. And Christopher killed Emil Kolar, a rival in the garbage business.
9. In the sixth season, Christopher finally made it to Hollywood. He and Little Carmine pitch Christopher's script, "Cleaver," to a famous, distinguished actor. Who was it?

Answer: Ben Kingsley

Sir Ben Kingsley was probably very angry at his agent for setting this meeting up at all. He was horrified at Christopher and Little Carmine's pitch and got out of there as soon as he could.
10. Ultimately, Christopher is killed. He had gone through a lot on the show -- drugs, gunshot wound, growing up without a father, death of his girlfriend -- but in the end, he's taken out by someone he knows. Who was it?

Answer: Tony Soprano

It was a shocking move to have Tony kill Christopher in the final season. He and Tony are in a major car accident, and Tony is overwhelmed by a feeling of anger and disappointment in Christopher: Christopher confessed he was driving under the influence, and Tony noted that had Christopher had his daughter with him in the car seat in the back seat, she would have been killed.

Instead of calling 911 immediately, Tony instead suffocates Christopher, though we don't know if would have died anyway. For many fans of Tony who had stuck with him through other murders and immoral acts, this was the final straw.
