The ship landed in the Tungusta River Basin in 1908 according to graphics on the screen. There were two men watching as it landed nearby and a superhero emerged from it.

After he landed on Earth, the next time Superian was shown he was being interviewed by Whoopi Goldberg on TV. He was played by Brendan Hines. Despite the decades between the landing and the modern day setting, Superian was still an active hero during the pilot.
