Connor yells "Hey, Dad" in Angel's direction and then asks "Dad", but both times he is of course referring to his new father and has no recollection of Angel.

All of these are things that happen but the 'monologue' goes:

"The one fathered by the vampire with a soul shall grow to manhood and kill Sahjhan." Sahjhan wasn't really a fan of this, so he changed the prophecy to "the father will kill the son."

Answer: memory box

If he breaks the memory box, all those who are in the same room will have their original memories restored.

Answer: Because he was involved in Fred's death

It never occurs to him anything but that it has something to do with Fred. His grieving has gotten in the way of his cognitive processes.

10. At the end of the episode, does Connor remember who Angel is?

Answer: Yes

Though it is left as a bit of a debatable question when Connor says: "You gotta do what you can to protect your family. I learned that from my father." He is clearly referencing the fact that Angel gave him a new life.

In the final episode however it is revealed for certain that Connor does remember both the real and fake lives.
