When we first meet Ricky, he tells us that he and Julian had been in jail for 18 months now.

This is the black car with no passenger door, that is sitting outside of Julian's trailer. Ricky eventually gets the car started because of a complaint from Mr. Lahey that the car is leaking oil onto the ground and contaminating the soil.

Fortunately for Ricky, just as the cops arrive, the ink from the bank machine is sprayed onto Mr. Lahey, and Randy.

However Julian is also sprayed and all three are sent to prison.

After pleading with the guys and they still say "no", Bubbles releases his friend back into the wild.
