The teams were: Heather and Magdalena, Lacey and Erin, Sam and Brandi C, Brandi M and Jes, and Mia and Rodeo. The challenge ended in a tie, making Heather and Magdalena win as well as Sam and Brandi C. Bret and the guest judge were confused about Rodeo's choice of lyrics which let the song down, causing Rodeo to cry. Rodeo was eliminated before the ceremony began as Bret told her to go to her son, giving her his hat.

Jes and Heather knew themselves that they were the MVPs for their teams, and it was neck and neck until Jes scored the last point. This was the first solo date in the show. For Jes and Bret's date, he played an acoustic version of 'All I Ever Needed' for her and they had a romantic meal together.

Jes said in the voiceover that this was a compliment for her. Lacey saw this task as an opportunity to throw other girls under the bus and make her look like the better choice for Bret, but she got really angry when the other girls stated she was not sincere.

Jes, Lacey and Sam went first with their album 'When Love Dances with the Devil'. Jes was creative director and the latter were the models. They went for a good vs evil theme and won.
Mia, Heather and Brandi M went for a strange theme with the album cover 'Broken Road'. With Brandi M dressed as a man, Bret stated that the sexiest thing in picture was the car prop.

The superfans thought that Brandi M and Lacey were fake and answered the questions they asked falsely. They told Bret that these two were the worst choices for him to date. At the end of the episode, it was Sam who was eliminated as she was really emotional and Bret didn't want to break her with his lifestyle and what came with it.

The apple-throwing incident occurred in episode 1 of 'Rock of Love: Charm School', which was hosted by Sharon Osbourne. This show's aim was to turn the wild party girls from 'Rock of Love' and 'Rock of Love 2' into ladies, with a cash prize of $100,000. Brandi M won this show.

Jes was pretty angry at the fact that Bret did not contact her between winning the show and the reunion, which he said he was not allowed to do. She then said that he should have chosen Heather as the winner, and at the end of the show Jes and Heather shared a hug whilst Jes apologised to her.
