Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What colour dress is Buffy wearing in Xander's daydream sequence at the beginning of "Teacher's Pet?"

Answer: Red

Xander shows off for Buffy in his daydream by playing the guitar and slaying a vampire at The Bronze. He wakes up when Buffy says, "you're drooling," and finds himself in Science class with drool running down his chin.
2. Which scanning software does Willow use in "I, Robot...You, Jane?"

Answer: Scan-E-Matique

Ms Calendar convinces Giles to archive his rare collection of books by scanning them into the computer system. Willow accidentally releases the demon Moloch, who has been trapped inside one of these books since the 15th century. She ends up becoming his cyber-girlfriend. Very creepy!
3. Who originally trapped Moloch in his literary prison?

Answer: Father Thelonius

Father Thelonius performed a ritual in 1418 to imprison Moloch the Corrupter within a book. Centuries later, this same book appears at the Sunnydale Library in the episode entitled "I, Robot...You, Jane."
4. What is Buffy's Grade Point Average?

Answer: 2.8

Moloch decides that Buffy has been asking too many questions. He hacks into the Sunnydale High records, where he finds Buffy's GPA. Moloch then convinces his followers to kill Buffy, which of course does not come to pass.
5. Whose nightmares involve tarantulas?

Answer: Wendell

Wendell is attacked by an army of tarantulas during class. He is the first person to have his nightmares manifest into reality.
6. How many languages can Giles speak on a "normal" day?

Answer: 5

In "Nightmares," Giles looses his ability to read all of these languages. He also gets lost in the stacks, another one of his nightmares.
7. Who is Willow forced to sing an opera duet with, and where does he hail from?

Answer: Aldo Gianfranco from Firenze

Willow has two major phobias: frogs and public performance. One of her fears manifest into reality in "Nightmares." She is forced on stage to perform the role of Cio-Cio-San from Puccini's opera "Madame Butterfly." She manages to squeeze out high-pitched squeak, to the disgust of Aldo and the audience!
8. What kind of body does Buffy think Billy is projecting when she sees him in "Nightmares?"

Answer: Asteroid

Buffy and Giles discuss how Billy could be in a coma, yet still able to walk around Sunnydale High. Buffy believes she is seeing his asteroid body. Giles quickly corrects her, explaining that it is probably his astral body wandering the halls.
9. Which book does Angel procure for Giles?

Answer: Pergamum Codex

Giles believes that this text was destroyed in the 15th century. Angel manages to obtain the lost text, in which Giles soon discovers Buffy's doomed fate: "Tomorrow night Buffy will face The Master, and she will die!"
10. At the end of "Out of Mind, Out of Sight," Marcie turns to page 54 in her newly acquired text book. What is the title of Chapter Eleven?

Answer: Assassination and Infiltration

Marcie is the girl who becomes invisible in "Out of Mind, Out of Sight." She is taken by government agents to a secret training school for invisible people. Based on the title of Chapter Eleven, it doesn't look like they are being trained for party tricks!
11. What colour is Giles' teacup during the earthquake of "Prophecy Girl?"

Answer: Yellow

Giles' teacup is shown immediately before the earthquake hits Sunnydale in "Prophecy Girl." The earthquake is a looming portent of The Master's release from the bowels of Sunnydale.
12. Who has been sending global e-mails about The Anointed One, and where is he from?

Answer: Brother Luca from Cortona

Ms Calendar has been receiving these prophetic e-mails from Brother Luca about The Anointed One. From his very last message, which includes a scripture passage from Isaiah 11:6, Giles and Jenny figure out that The Anointed One is a child and that this child will lead Buffy to The Master. All of this happens in "Prophecy Girl."
13. Which cartoon characters are dancing on the television set when Willow and Cordy walk into the Audio Visual Room?

Answer: Three little pigs

Willow and Cordelia are confronted with a horrific scene as they open the door to the A/V Room in "Prophecy Girl." Many of their classmates, along with Cordelia's current squeeze, have been brutally murdered by vampires. The cheerful cartoon on T.V. makes the whole situation even more disturbing.
14. What is country music, according to Xander?

Answer: Music of pain

Xander finally tells Buffy how he feels about her in "Prophecy Girl," only to get his heart broken when Buffy doesn't reciprocate his feelings. His solution is to mope in his room while listening to country music.
15. When Xander's phone is ringing, what does Patsy Cline sing after "I fall to pieces...?"

Answer: Each time I see you again

Willow phones Xander in his moment of self-pity. Xander picks up the phone, hangs up on Willow, and takes the phone off the hook. Obviously he wants some alone time to mend his broken heart.
