Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Rory plays what role in the wedding?

Answer: best man

As Lorelai put it, "It's not fair! Rory practically gets to wear a costume, while I have to wear THAT dress! No fair! I want to be the maid." She could wear flats! (Lorelai ends up wearing her own dress.)
2. What happened to Luke's pants in the car?

Answer: they wrinkled

Luke didn't know there was a place to get dressed when you got to the place the wedding was being held at, so he had gotten dressed prior. Richard offered to press his pants for him, but Emily assured Richard that Luke wasn't wearing THAT to the wedding!
3. Before the wedding (the night before), what did Emily drink (that got her, or at least almost got her drunk) in an attempt to compete with Richard's bachelor party?

Answer: rum

All the ladies in Lorelai's neighborhood came over at the last minute to "party" with Emily. Emily drank Coca Cola and rum. Richard told Lorelai not to let her get drunk, because he wanted his wife to be perfect for the wedding.
4. Did Rory wear her hair hanging down on her shoulders during the wedding?

Answer: No

Because Rory was the best man, she looked as masculine as possible. It was in a special ponytail/bun "do".
5. What was the name of the man in the song (about a woman who just wanted to marry a man named _____) that became Emily's favorite song when Lorelai was 3 years old?

Answer: Bill

This is the song that Richard picked for the traditional first dance. It had always annoyed him, and Emily had always said, "If only your name was Bill." Richard then said that, for tonight, and tonight only, his name would be Bill.
6. Who did Rory keep looking at throughout the entire wedding?

Answer: Logan and the pretty blonde

He later told Rory, after she went up to him and asked, that the girl Rory referred to as "the pretty blonde" was just his friend.
7. What was the problem with getting hugged by Lorelai's aunt?

Answer: you'll smell like her for a month

Lorelai tried to warn Luke, on multiple occasions, to stay clear of her path so she won't be able to hug either of them, but somehow, when Lorelai wasn't with him, Luke was hugged because Christopher mentioned that he had been hugged. Hilarious!
8. According to Christopher's story, who kissed the other first, Lorelai or Christopher?

Answer: Lorelai

Christopher told Rory that he and Lorelai were in a parking lot, and Lorelai just came up to him and kissed him. She "said she just wanted to know what it would be like.
9. When Lorelai (and then Christopher, and then Luke) caught Rory and Logan in a precarious position (near the end of the episode), what color shirts were they both wearing?

Answer: white

Rory had mimicked her mother in Christopher's story, and had just told Logan she wanted to see what it would be like, and then kissed him. When she asked him what he thought, he said it felt like he was kissing a boy (to be assumed that it was because of her best man's outfit).

Then she kissed him again, and he loved it. The next scene we see them in, Rory and Logan both have their suit jackets off, and their white shirts are very obvious.
10. (Don't think too hard-) Did Lorelai say that Christopher was drunk as he said that he and Emily both knew that he and Lorelai were meant for each other?

Answer: Yes

While trying to prevent Luke from getting angry, and stop Christopher from making things worse, Lorelai screamed over top of him "You're drunk!" Christopher continued anyways, saying that they were meant for each other, and everybody knew it.
