Kirk was sitting inside Luke's with a clear plastic bin, and he was retrieving all of the Luke versus Lorelai ribbons Taylor had passed out. It is revealed later that Lorelai's ribbons are coming in faster than Luke's, revealing that more people had chosen to support Lorelai during the break up.

When Kirk's girlfriend Lulu refused to give back her pink ribbon, Kirk chased her down the street. He came back into the diner with Lulu's ribbon, still attached to her clothing.

Sookie had added several extra touches from the kitchen. One of those was a cake on top every table in the dining area. She also had treats at the check in desk, and when she was worried about the photos not being taken from the inside, she brought out food to set on the porch railing!

He tried to give out some cheap presents to Sookie and Lorelai too, one of which was the book "He's Just Not That Into You". You do not win prizes on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", which is also taped in New York City. You do win some prizes on "Jeopardy!", though not on a regular basis. Michel's RV arrived earlier than he expected, and it ruined the first attempt at the inn's photo shoot. Lorelai snapped at Michel to get rid of the RV, so he tried to sell it off at the ridiculously low price of $20,000. Lorelai stepped in and prevented this from happening, since it is worth so much more, and apologized to Michel.

Kirk told Luke that whenever Lulu entered the room, his mother would cough, choke, turn red, and get puffy. He explained that Lulu had tried changing her products and clothing to fix the problem, but nothing had helped. It sounds like Kirk's mother just does not want to share her grown son with anyone. This is when Luke told Kirk he needed to grow and be a man.

Emily had Olympia set the dinner table for four people, because she arrogantly assumed that Lorelai would be joining the Friday night dinner with Rory. Emily assumed that coming to Luke and sending him back to Lorelai would exonerate her for her atrocious behavior before and during the vow renewal.

Rory and Logan were in a "cas" (casual) relationship. He had wanted it that way and Rory agreed. She and Lorelai spotted Logan in town (New Haven) while they were shopping. He was having coffee with another girl, and Rory explained to her mom that they'd agreed to date other people. Lorelai found this troubling, because she knew Rory and Logan had an intimate relationship as well. So, later when Robert (Logan's friend) asked Rory to Finn's birthday part, she agreed. Logan was not at all pleased to see Rory with another guy, so he kissed her passionately and tried to coax her to leave the party with him.

Despite being tempted, Rory did not ditch Robert and leave with Logan. Logan came to the party with Whitney, so he was not alone.

Robert, Rory's date, came as Dead Extra #2 from one of Quentin's movies. Logan was the boxer from "Pulp Fiction", and his date Whitney was the Bride from the "Kill Bill" movies. Rory may have been playing the part of one of Lucy Lui's co-horts in "Kill Bill".

Lorelai was appalled to find Reggae music inside Luke's truck, and went on to make fun of the song titles. He said he bought it because it was cheap. She said she wouldn't be surprised to find 'ganja and a yellow/red/green cap' in the glove box. Ganja, of course, being slang for marijuana.

When poor Kirk became excited about moving out of his house, he handed his mother the key and packed his bag. He did not think it through and get an apartment first. So, Luke and Lorelai first found him nude and sleeping with the Batman blanket inside her garage.

He was curled up in Luke's boat! Then, Lorelai allowed him to borrow Rory's room, where he later emerged sleep walking. He walked out, nude again, of Lorelai's house. At least he had the blanket around him, as sometimes he has nothing covering his nudity.

Then, at the end of the episode Michel is negotiating the sale of his RV over the phone when he finds Kirk, nude with the blanket, asleep inside the RV. I think Kirk would be perfectly content if Luke and Lorelai married and adopted him. Even though Kirk is an adult, he is extremely attached to both Luke and Lorelai.
