"Welcome Back Weekend": Jesse/Angie-Episode 2 Quiz

The opening scene showed Tad, at his home, and he heard his doorbell ring. He opened it up and he saw Jenny, his sister, and welcomed her into his home. Jenny talked to Tad about her upcoming wedding to Tony Barclay and Tad just encouraged her to not feel nervous and do what was right for her.

At Tony and Jenny's wedding, which appeared later, Greg interrupted the ceremony and took Jenny to a private room, where he told her that he had just gotten her letter where she said she loved him. Greg told Jenny that Amanda Cousins, Liza Colby, Enid Nelson (his mom), and Tony Barclay all schemed to ensure Greg would not see the letter. Jenny ran off with Greg and did not marry Tony.

In this episode, Jenny had lunch with Myrtle, at McKay's, and it was there that Jenny asked Myrtle if she would walk her down the aisle. Myrtle commented that it was a lovely question and that she would be delighted to give her away in marriage. Jenny, then, told Myrtle she would pay for the entire lunch and, right before Jenny left the restaurant, she saw Greg Nelson and Amanda Cousins sit down but she avoided them.

Jenny told Tad that she really wanted their mom, Opal, to walk her down the aisle at her wedding to Tony but that she had to find someone else since Opal went off to Switzerland to get married. Jenny was disappointed but Tad told her to not feel bad since Opal finally got what she wanted and that was a rich man who loved her.

The man Opal married was named Ralph Purdy and they had a short marriage.

Jesse and Angie were on the run since they had kidnapped their son, Franklin "Frankie" Hubbard, and decided to get married in Center City (where they were at the time). Jesse told Angie that they were going to get married at a Justice of the Peace, a place where he said people got married one after another like an assembly line.

At the very end of this show, they made their union official with their friend, Vera, in attendance (Vera was Angie's maid of honor). This was the second time Jesse and Angie married.

Amanda went over to Greg's house since she told him, over the phone, she had something to give him. Greg was not home but Enid was there and Amanda told her she had Jenny's letter, for Greg. Enid convinced Amanda not to give Greg the letter since being with Jenny would be the biggest mistake of his life.

When Greg asked Amanda what she had to give him, Amanda just gave him a schedule of the student council meetings for that school year.

Liza went to a bar to have a drink and it was there that she met a bartender named Gil. He assumed that Liza wanted white wine but Liza told him she wanted whiskey. Gil claimed that he lost a lot of money on Liza since he told her he played a betting game, with himself, on what the customer will order and he inaccurately predicted she would have white wine. Gil said that her drink was on the house and Liza did not have to pay for it.

Edna and Dottie went over to Phoebe and Langley's house so that Edna could talk to them about getting Dottie involved in the social circle of Pine Valley. While Edna spoke to Phoebe, she mentioned that she thought Jesse was a "creep" and Dottie told her mother to stop calling him a "creep" since she hated it. Immediately after Dottie blasted her mother for this, she heard the doorbell and answered the door and saw Tad there.

Dottie was supposed to be Jesse and Angie's maid of honor but she got held up so Vera, Jesse and Angie's friend, tracked down the bride and groom and told them she would be their maid of honor. While Vera and Angie were alone, Vera commented that the maid of honor was responsible for letting the bride borrow something for the wedding (as well as giving the bride something new, something old, and something blue). Angie said she did not have any earrings so Vera let Angie borrow a pair of earrings for her wedding to Jesse.

Earlier in the show, Ruth called up Marian and asked if she could stop by her house after work to talk about Tad and Liza. Marian said yes and Ruth went to Marian's house and told her she was upset about Tad and Liza breaking up. Ruth claimed she was not certain as to why Tad and Liza called off their relationship due to how Tad did not talk about it a lot. Marian stated Liza was also quite mum on the subject of her break up with Tad as well.

Just before Vera showed up and told Jesse and Angie she would be their official witness by standing in as Angie's maid of honor, both Jesse and Angie retained the services of a man named Gordy to be their witness. At the actual ceremony, the minister told Jesse and Angie they could have Vera as a witness and have as many witnesses as they wanted but Gordy had to be paid. Jesse paid Gordy and he said Jesse and Angie's wedding was the best one he ever witnessed.
