The first time you were introduced to Martha Logan, the president's wife, she was getting ready to go outside to meet him. She didn't like the way she looked, so she dumped her head in a sink full of water. After that moment, you realized that the character of Martha Logan was going to be a little loony.

Chloe was, of course, being her usual sarcastic weird self and C.T.U. was in the middle of a rescue operation. Bill was getting a little uptight so he this line kind of popped out of his mouth. It was really funny; especially Chloe's reaction (which was utter shock that he even said this).

That scene was absolutely terrific! A few episodes before this point, Aaron had disappeared, and in episode 22 you see him again all beat up and bloodied. Aaron had found out that Charles Logan was behind the day's terrorist activities and Logan wanted to get Aaron to keep quiet. Aaron refused and addressed Logan by his first name; something he'd never done and one of the biggest ways to show disrespect. Logan ordered to have Aaron killed, but luckily Martha saved him at the last second.

Marie Warner, the sweet and innocent bride-to-be of Kate Warner, was revealed to be involved in terrorist activities. After Marie and Kate's mother had died, Marie had become radicalized and was helping Middle Eastern terrorists detonate a bomb in L.A. Luckily, she was captured and take back to C.T.U.

At the end of the season, Kate and her father tried to talk to Marie but Marie only spoke these words to Kate, in order to scare her.

David Palmer, a black Democratic senator was running for president and seemed to be winning the primary. That was the first time something like that happened, and it was great until David learned that his son, Keith had murdered a man who had raped his sister, Nicole. David's wife, Sherry, had helped cover that up, and as the day progresses she seemed more and more eager to take power. David got angry, and after Sherry risked Kim Bauer's life for her benefit he'd had enough.

He met Sherry and told her that he was leaving her.

Sherry, obviously, got very upset and started yelling this line.

Chloe had been dating her employee, Spenser Wolfe, and it turned out that he was working with some of the men that had planned to use the nerve gas. Edgar approached Chloe and asked her why she hadn't told him about her and Spenser. Chloe responded rudely by saying that some people have secrets. Edgar told her that he didn't keep any secrets from her because they were friends and Chloe just said that line all the more sarcastically, obviously upsetting him.

She didn't think twice about it until Edgar was killed in the nerve gas later in the season.

After being betrayed at the safehouse, Teri and Kim escaped but then lost each other. Kim went to the house of Rick; one of the boys that kidnapped her but then helped her and Teri escape. However, a drug deal was going down but it turned out to be undercover cops and Kim got arrested with everyone else. Rick's girlfriend, Melanie, hated Kim and tried to cause trouble but Kim had had enough and exploded in Melanie's face.

Earlier in the day (approximately four hours into the season) Mason had been exposed to plutonium and was dying. After the bomb was found, Jack decided to be the one that would fly it over the desert in a suicide mission to save the rest of L.A. But, it turned out that Mason stowed away on the plane and told Jack that it was his job to take the plane down and Jack had a life to get back to. Jack parachuted out and Mason crashed the plane, dying a hero.

Introduced in season 4 as Jack's girlfriend, Audrey and Jack were very close throughout the season and seemed very much in love. But when Audrey's husband, Paul, whom she'd been separated from long before she met Jack, took a bullet for Jack, things changed. Paul was taken into surgery and Jack burst into medical with a terrorist who needed medical help. Jack forced the doctor off Paul and Paul died. Audrey got very upset and didn't recover from it for the rest of the season.

Vladimir Bierko, unhappy with the treaty Logan signed with the Russian president, called and demanded the routes of Suvarov's motorcade so Bierko could kill him. If Logan didn't give up the route, then Bierko would release nerve gas all over the U.S. Logan agreed, but Martha overheard and got very angry.

She got into the motorcade and when Logan heard this, he got very sad and scared. He tried to think of everything but ended up practically breaking down and just praying. His prayers were answered and Martha survived.

After leaving Tony because of his drinking problem, Michelle had to work with Tony again during season 4 when she was called in to replace Erin Driscoll. At first, she seemed to hate him but as the season progressed, she acted more and more like she still loved Tony.

After seeing Audrey and Jack breaking up, Tony asked Michelle to leave C.T.U. with him and start over. She was unsure at first, but eventually changed her mind and said the above line.

Answer: Nina Myers

Throughout season 1, you always got the feeling that there was a mole (someone working for the terrorists) but you were always unsure of who it was. In episode 23, all fingers pointed to George Mason but then Victor Drazen got a phone call from someone named Yelena.

After the conversation was over, you learn it was Nina, whom everyone had trusted the entire season. Within the next hour, she made Jack think Kim was dead, it turned out that she had killed Jamey Farrell, and she murdered Teri Bauer. Nina turned into one of the biggest villains ever on "24."

After capturing Nina and taking her back to C.T.U. for questioning about her involvment with the virus and the Salazars, Nina escaped. She purposely hurt herself, was taken to C.T.U. medical, and then killed all the doctors before escaping. Jack found her as she was about to kill Kim and he shot her.

She was reaching for her gun and Jack realized that she really didn't know anymore information. So, he killed her.

Answer: David Palmer

After making some unpopular decisions that day, David Palmer's vice president Jim Prescott with the help of Mike Novick preceded to invoke the twenty fifth amendment on the grounds that Palmer wasn't mentally capable of running the country. He made a great case for himself, but unfortunately, was still removed by one vote from the cabinet.

However, Prescott later admitted his mistake and Palmer became president again.

This is definitely my new favorite line! Karen was the National Security Advisor for the president, but she always disagreed with the president's Chief of Staff, Tom Lennox. In the sixth hour, Tom had had enough of Karen and told her that he wanted her to resign. Karen, of course, laughed in his face and said this line. But, when Tom threatened to jeopardize her husband Bill Buchanan's career and reputation, she backed down and resigned.
