Answer: She is shot by CTU agent, Nina Meyers.

Teri and Kim are held hostage by terrorists who have a score to settle with Jack, but they are rescued from that. The women are in a safe house when it comes under attack, but they also manage to escape, unharmed, from that.
Back in CTU, Teri stumbles upon the fact that Nina is the mole. Initially Nina only ties Teri up, but after a phone order from her contact, she shoots Teri and tries to escape. We don't actually see Teri being shot; we hear the order being given and see Nina turn and look at her. Jack's discovery of Teri's body is the first that we are sure that Nina carried out her orders. Up until that point we have some hope that she was still human enough to let Teri live.
Teri was played by Leslie Hope.

Answer: In the explosion of the nuclear bomb

At the beginning of season two George is still not that sympathetic a character. In fact, the news that there is a nuclear bomb threat to LA seems to provoke the flight response in George and it looks like he is going to get himself out of range. He ends up being exposed to lethal levels of plutonium and his approaching death seems to help him find his resolve. He chooses to spend his last hours trying to prevent the nuclear bomb from going off.
When the bomb is found, it becomes obvious that someone is going to have to fly it over the dessert to have it detonate there, where it will do the least damage. Jack makes the sacrifice but Mason stows away on board, gives Jack a parachute and takes control of the plane, dying when the bomb explodes.
George was played by Xander Berkeley.

Answer: He is shot by a sniper.

Palmer's term as president is fraught with terrorist activity. He is president when the atomic bomb is exploded over the dessert. He is still president when a deadly virus is released into a downtown hotel, and the threat of having more of the virus released had to be averted. An assassination attempt is made on his life through a toxin transmitted through a handshake, but he survives the attempt.
He chooses not to run for re-election, but gets called back in to advise VP Charles Logan how to handle his crisis, when Logan becomes acting president.
At the beginning of Season Five, Palmer is meeting with his brother to discuss the writing of his memoirs, when he is shot and killed by a sniper, from an adjacent building. He is assassinated because he has information about a plot, by both the government and private industry, and is intending on doing something about it.
David Palmer was played by Dennis Haysbert.

Answer: Yes

In season two, Jack is tortured to make him reveal the location of a microchip. Among other things, he is hit a couple of times with a taser, until he passes out. When attempts to wake him up fail, one of the torturers pronounces him dead. He is cut down and CPR is started until a shot of epinephrine can be found to restart his heart. For the rest of the season he has obvious moments when his heart troubles him.
Interesting point; the only two characters to appear in all of the first six seasons of "24" are Jack Bauer and Secret Service Agent Aaron Pierce, played by Glenn Morshower.
Jack is played by Kiefer Sutherland.

Answer: She is shot by Julia Milliken.

David's brother, Wayne, had an affair with the wife of Alan Milliken, one of David's biggest supporters and financial backers. When Alan demands that Wayne be fired, David asks Sherry to help with the situation. Sherry is in Alan's presence when he suffers a heart incident, and she withholds his medicine (forcing his wife Julia to do the same) causing him to die.

Sherry then uses this information to either try to force David into bringing her back into his life as First Lady, or to bring down his administration by naming him as a conspirator in the murder. Meanwhile Milliken's wife has become the chief suspect in the murder. Distraught, Julia confronts Sherry, shooting her and then turning the gun on herself. David is disgusted at what he inadvertently caused to happen and chooses not to seek another term as president. Sherry was played by Penny Johnson Jerald.

Answer: Jack shoots her.

Nina has the survival instincts of a cat. In season two, she only agrees to help them locate the terrorist controlling the atom bomb for a full, presidential pardon, for not only her past crimes, but for the future crime of murdering Jack Bauer, which she doesn't succeed in doing.

In season three she is up to all of her old tricks and tries to lie, trick, manipulate and threaten her way out of trouble. She even goes so far as to deliberately injure herself badly while being interrogated, by causing the needle to pierce her jugular vein.

While being given medical attention she manages to escape but is cornered in a bathroom by Kim Bauer. Jack shoots her while she is protesting that she still has valuable information to broker for her life. Nina was played by Sarah Clarke. Sarah and Xander Berkeley (George Mason) met on during season one and were married before season two began.

Answer: Her car explodes.

Married sometime between the end of season two and the beginning of season three, Tony Almeida and Michelle split up sometime between the end of Season Three and the beginning of Season Four. At the end of Season Four, they reunite and Michelle leaves CTU to be with Tony.

At the beginning of season five, President Palmer is assassinated, and Michelle is killed when her car blows up, after she hears about the assassination. Tony, who was supposed to die with her, runs out to pick up her body and is badly injured during a second explosion from the car (presumably the gas tank). An attempt to kill CTU agent Chloe O'Brian also fails. We later learn that Michelle's killing and the attempted killings of Tony and Chloe are an attempt to muddy the waters about the reason for Palmer's assassination, and to blame the killings on Jack, since these are the only people who know that Jack is still alive. Michelle was played by Reiko Aylesworth.

Answer: He is caught in the Sentox gas attack on CTU.

In season five, Edgar does not make it into the air tight room before it is locked down and sealed off, due to the Sentox nerve gas attack on CTU. Edgar dies from exposure to the gas outside of the safe room while Chloe watches on in horror.
Edgar was played by Louis Lombardi.

Answer: Jack shoots him.

Curtis and Jack become quite close through seasons four and five, learning that they can rely on each other. In season six, they must work with former terrorist, Hamri Al-Assad, who has been granted a presidential pardon so that he can work with the President in finding the suitcase nukes before any more are detonated. Curtis had some pretty nasty experiences with Assad during Dessert Storm, which resulted in the brutal murder of several of Curtis' men. Alone with Assad for a minute, Curtis finds himself unable to let the man live and does not back down, even when Jack orders him to. Jack is forced to shoot Curtis to save Assad's life. Curtis was played by Roger Cross.

Answer: We are not sure if he is dead or alive.

Logan is ill prepared to assume the mantle of leadership and is often more concerned about how his decisions will make him look than on effective leadership. He calls in former President Palmer as a consultant but criticizes his decisions. In season five, Logan is involved in a plot, with other government figures and private business, to secure oil interests. However many people, including President Palmer, are killed because of this plot. At the end of season five, Logan is arrested, largely due to the efforts of his wife, Martha.
At the beginning of season six, we find Logan on house arrest for his crimes, offering to help out as a way to redeem his sins. He visits his former wife in an attempt to persuade her to phone the Russian president's wife. Martha is unstable and hospitalized, and only reluctantly agrees to see him. At one point she grabs a knife she had been using to chop fruit and stabs her ex-husband in the jugular. We last see him being transported to hospital and although he seems to die, he is not listed as deceased. Future seasons reveal more, but I won't.
