When he was a pup his parents were killed by hunters and Tsume only just escaped but received a scar

1. In the first episode, who is the first wolf you see (in human or wolf form)?

Answer: Kiba

Kiba is actually the first wolf you see. He is at the very start lying in the snow saying how he is driven to find paradise. After that little scene, Tsume appears working with humans to gather food from a train.

2. Is Toboe a female?

Answer: No

Toboe is a young male wolf. A lot of people mistake him for being a female because of his human character design. Toboe is a caring wolf that was raised by an old woman but she accidentally died when Toboe went to go jump on her.

3. What is the name of the opening song?

Answer: Stray

"Stray" is the song that plays before each episode. The lyrics were written by Tim Jenson and the song was sung by Steve Conte.

4. What is the name of the flower maiden?

Answer: Cheza

Cheza is the key to paradise and will allow the wolves to get there. She is part-flower-part-human and eats and drinks how a flower would. She has red eyes and pink hair.

5. What is Blue?

Answer: Only half-wolf

Blue was a dog that belonged to Quent but when Cheza approached her she realised that she was part-wolf, but not fully a wolf. She used to hunt wolves alongside Quent to get back at them for destroying Quent's family, but they didn't know that it wasn't the wolves that destroyed their home.

There are only thirty episodes in the whole series, and each episode goes for approximately twenty minutes. "Wolf's Rain" is a very sad anime and the ending can break you into tears...

7. How did Tsume get the scar on his chest?

Answer: He ran away from his clan when they were in trouble, so he was kicked out and given a scar by a member from his pack

When Toboe dies, Tsume tells Toboe how he got the scar on his chest. As he speaks a flashback appears with his pack being attacked and him running away. Then he is given a scar by a member of his old pack.

8. Who ends up having to kill Hige?

Answer: Tsume

Hige is almost killed by Darcia, but survives. He stays with Blue until she passes away. Tsume comes up the mountain and rushes to Hige. Hige asks Tsume to do him a favour by killing him, because he is in pain. Tsume doesn't want to do it, but he has to help Hige by killing him. Tsume ends up biting Hige's neck to instantly kill him...

9. In the end, does Darcia survive?

Answer: No

Darcia is firstly poisoned by Cheza which makes him vomit. He then tries to walk into paradise, but paradise doesn't allow him in and destroys him.

10. Who is the white wolf?

Answer: Kiba

Kiba is the white wolf of the pack, and the main character. Kiba is the one who starts the search for paradise and stops at nothing to get there.
